You read my mind exactly.

When I'm passionate about something, I get really excited about it and want to talk about it 24/7. In this case, it's Cookie. Most of my friends get annoyed with it though..they think I'm too old to be acting all fangirly over this guy..my favorite part of coming here is being myself, sharing my thoughts, and not being judged for it!

Im just so glad I found it here!! Everyone has made me feel welcome from the begining...Now I need to catch up sooooo bad I havent been on sience Wed cause of work...Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Exactly, this forum is my life now. I don't even go to another forums barely at all.. which is weird because earlier I was stuck at IDF and thought that I don't need to register gazillion of inactive forums (like these fanforums usually are). I get all the news I need from here.

Actually without Facebook and this forum I probably wouldn't be as obsessed as I am now. All the craziness started when I was surfing around in FB (when I finally got my Internet access back after month of waiting) and noticed that there was a fan group for David and checked that. And I saw a link to here and clicked without thinking about it. Few threads and few videos later I was gooone.

I love it here too! Obviously, or I wouldn't be here. But I just had to post to say how much I love it here! I'm a member at IDF as well but I don't post there much, I just lurk a lot. They're not too friendly to newbies over there. They're not really mean either, it's just they kind of ignore new people...I don't really like that, even though I love to lurk there! I love how everyone here is so friendly! I never go to the boards at AI.com, I hate it there. Here is where I do all my posting because it's a nicer atmosphere here...I love you guys!


Exactly...I can be my weird, silly, random, and even sometimes serious self here and no one cares(at least if you do you don't say anything!)


Archie was one of my favs. at the beginning of the show, so I registered on his fan site and I totally understand what you mean. I quit going there because they are too immature for my taste. You're not allowed to have any other favs over there or you get bashed. And I hate that. Not everyone is going to have just one favorite and people need to respect that. Sorry, I just had to rant a bit there.

You never know what to expect when you join a MB for the first time, but you all made me feel so welcome from the very beginning. I can totally be myself and you all make me laugh and smile everytime i come on here. I am very thankful for this board.

I definitely agree with evryone! Im still sorta new here, but my first few posts i was sorta scared to really voice my opinion on some things, and then i realized that we're all much more mature than other forums and respect everyone's right to opinions. ur all the best!

i def agree--my sister's on the archie forum and some of the things she shows me are a little crazy--I like my Cook fix over here way better!

I don't mean to bash the archie boards anymore than I already have but they take EVERYTHING out of context one claiming she hates david cook because the fans make fun of archuleta's vocal paralasis sp? and someone said a singer stole david's "lip licking" it's quite strange.

This is the one place where the forumers here are objective and level-headed, yet can be crazy fans at the same time (in a good way!).

To be honest, I was a lurker at IDF, and didn't really like it there because of the fiery exchange that can happen at times, when disagreement of an opinion occurs.

I am so happy I have found this site. When I am off the boards pretty much everyone in my family thinks I am absolutley crazy because of my current obsession with DC! It's nice to come on the boards and know I am not the only one who has an emotional tie with David!!!

I love it here so much! I drive my friend Kat crazy with all of my DC talk so she might not like me coming here every day haha.
Everyone here made me feel so welcome when I joined and from that day I knew this site was going to be great.

I have made some great friends here and hope to meet many more.

I found the right place at the right time!

I registered over at the AI boards but I don't spend much time there. People are more distant than over here. I feel more connected over here I think.

I've never been to the IDF boards but I'm glad because they don't sound like nice people. I like nice people and if I had found that place first then I wouldn't feel as good about being a DC fan as I am now.
