I'm grateful for this MB because it is next to impossible to try and make comments over @ IDF without getting bashed, unless you strictly stay in the DC thread. The Archie fans can be especially nasty, but it's not limited to them. I just wasted 20mins trying to explain to some Archie fans that Cook did not in fact, forget the lyrics to MOTN last week.

This is my fave board. I really don't bother going anywhere else.

I don't go anywhere else anymore either. Well, the Archie boards occasionally because of the ruckus about the story thing, but here is where I call home. I don't even really get on myspace a lot anymore. I like you guys better.

That's so true. I also used to go a lot of boards, but I don't have time anymore, because I'm just here! But I like it that way.

I lurk at other boards and I used to post at the AI.com forums, but I don't post anywhere but here now. This is like my safe haven.

This is seriously one of the best forums I've ever been a member of. Everyone here is so nice and mature (well, we have our "immature" moments, haha, but those are awesome and hilarious so I don't mind them.) Everybody just gets along and respects each other, and you can disagree with people here without fear of getting griped at/banned/murdered in your sleep.

I thought I was done with MB's completely after the last mess I went through.
Then I found this place... and I flippin' love it. It does kinda feel like home.

I love that we are pretty much free to be ourselves.
Its one of the first places I go when I sign on... before myspace, before anything.

I like it more here as well. Occasionally post on AI, but stay safely within David's board, even then I'm a bit scared to post too much as people seem to get banned very, very easily, so I tend to be very guarded with what I post - here, especially in certain threads I can, errr, express my thoughts much more freely

I just wanted to say that David Cook fans are definitely the most awesome people in the world.

I have been on other message boards before and people can sometimes be rude and insulting.

I have not seen that even once here. It makes me so happy to be a part of this community where we are respectful and supportive of each other (the Hug a Word Nerd Society thread for example). We are here because of our shared love and respect for one amazing person, but I've found that we are all amazing too.

I feel silly posting this just after 2 days of being a member here, but also I feel proud of all of you for proving your awesomeness in that short amount of time! You guys rock.

I really don't know what I would do without this message board - as a UK resident the only AI fix I get is the programme - so if it wasn't for this message board I wouldn't be able to read all the latest news from AI, I wouldn't be able to see and hear about the wonderful Homecoming David had yesterday. It is like a little family on here - DC fans are just the best!!

I absolutely agree with that.

You normally get at least one person who acts like a complete twit on message boards but not on this one and I think that reflects the amazing kind of fans that David has.
