i havent heard anything from him either:( its mostly archie that iv heard in the UK... all my friends went to see him with mcfly, i refused to go!!
Ha. I'm a bit of a McFly groupie - I've been to every single tour that they've done since 2004, and am hoping to see them for the tenth time at least sometime before the end of the year. When I heard about Archie supporting them on the last tour, I really couldn't resist going. I have to be honest and say that he's not exactly my cup of tea music-wise, but to be fair, he put on a ruddy good performance, and everyone there - including the good 95% of people who had absolutely no idea who he was - enjoyed his set and had clearly fallen in love with him after the night was over. Three of my friends who were with me were able to meet him afterwards as well, which was nice, and they kept saying how lovely and humble he was.
I remember queueing up outside before we were allowed into the venue, though, and my friends and I were all singing songs from DCTR (we repeated LO at least three times). This one woman in front of us turned around and told us to shut up, because we were getting on her nerves, and "THAT WEREN'T A MCFLY SONG." Pretty funny. We carried on when he came on stage.
Anyway, I know what you mean. Towards the end of the McFly tour was the time when 'Crush' started to get overplayed on the TV/radio, and literally everyone was talking about him. It got pretty tedious after a while. I wish DC had a bit more exposure in the UK, but I guess until his music is released here, not a lot will happen.
