I didn't know if this was posted yet or not or where to post it.
But I made my husband watch the Daytime Emmys with me last night, and then they went to show clips from All My Children, it heard the familiar du du du du of Come Back to Me and I squeeled. Of course he knows the song and rolled his eyes blink.gif They even edited it to go with the clips from the show. It was really neat!

I heard Time of My Life on a friend's car radio the other day, and I hadn't heard it in months. It sounded so good, I came to appreciate it with renewed enthusiasm.

I know what you mean indi28, about hearing those first few notes of Come Back To Me! I was about PARALYZED when shopping in Whole Foods the other day and heard those nnotes come on their loudspeakers! I could NOT shop for the whole time it was on. I just NEVER expected to ever hear DC in Whole Foods....it was jst quite amazing AND weird to me all at the same time!! But very cool...even if it scrambled my brain and paralyzed me for 3-4 minutes while it was on. LOL!! laugh.gif tongue.gif

Heh. He's practically non-existent here. The video for Light On was only ever shown perhaps once or twice on TV music stations, been mentioned in the newspaper maybe twice, and that's it. Sigh.

Ha. I'm a bit of a McFly groupie - I've been to every single tour that they've done since 2004, and am hoping to see them for the tenth time at least sometime before the end of the year. When I heard about Archie supporting them on the last tour, I really couldn't resist going. I have to be honest and say that he's not exactly my cup of tea music-wise, but to be fair, he put on a ruddy good performance, and everyone there - including the good 95% of people who had absolutely no idea who he was - enjoyed his set and had clearly fallen in love with him after the night was over. Three of my friends who were with me were able to meet him afterwards as well, which was nice, and they kept saying how lovely and humble he was.

I remember queueing up outside before we were allowed into the venue, though, and my friends and I were all singing songs from DCTR (we repeated LO at least three times). This one woman in front of us turned around and told us to shut up, because we were getting on her nerves, and "THAT WEREN'T A MCFLY SONG." Pretty funny. We carried on when he came on stage.

Anyway, I know what you mean. Towards the end of the McFly tour was the time when 'Crush' started to get overplayed on the TV/radio, and literally everyone was talking about him. It got pretty tedious after a while. I wish DC had a bit more exposure in the UK, but I guess until his music is released here, not a lot will happen.

I saw him on there too. I think Paul kind of scared him a little bit, heh, he can waffle on for England. And Jo Brand was cracking jokes and he had no idea what she was talking about. It was amusing though. I can't really imagine Dave on Paul O'Grady's show, but once he does come here then I expect he will be.

Yeah, I know. I hope that means he'll be able to play some shows here, too. I'm not just saying this, but I really think he'll like it here. He'll have to be prepared for the monsoon-like weather, though. I remember Archie saying something about how he couldn't believe how rainy and cold it was here. Anyway, someone from The Daily Mirror interviewed our Dave when he was at Disney World for the AI attraction, and he said that he'd love to come here 'if we'd have him.' We need him here, to be honest, because I'm sick of hearing all dance/rap on the radio. Hearing a bit more of David's music will make a nice change.

Aside from my CD and the VH1 I don't hear much about David. I have yet to hear CBTM on the radio, I think I may have caught the end of LO once, it's so annoying. The radio station here had a contest for tickets and the guy was going on and on about ppl asking for David and stuff, I nearly yelled "well then why the f*** isn't he on the radio more and why don't you answer the request line when I call?" I don't listen to the radio much cause I get tired of listening to crappy music and all the blame ads and talking, so they may have played him when I wasn't listening, but I should have heard him at least once. I live in GA and the radio station is in Chattanooga, TN and why they don't play him I don't know. I've heard TOML a couple dozen times, but on the easy listening. We finally got KissFM back here and I haven't heard him yet, they play the same songs over and over, but not David, all they play is them half rap songs and the nasty junk and things that should be in the R&B station, not the pop. Sorry for my little rant, but I never hear David unless I have my compouter, CD player, or iPod on and it stinks. I did hear LO and CBTM on the xm station on my tv and they never played BBS and requested it a ton.
