I'm watching America's Got Talent - finale, and they just did a montage of the season highlights to the tune of TOML. Always makes me smile to hear David's songs used for other events.

My son, who is 3 said, "Mommy, where is David Cook?" LOL

My husband then proceeded to say, "Oh for the love of God he knows this?? You have completely brainwashed that kid" LOL I love it!!! He totally recognized the song when they started to play it!!! He then was mad because he was not on stage to sing!!!

Aw, that made me smile.
I probably won't get to see that for another year. With America's Got Talent, in the UK we're always a year behind.

That is so funny! My kids know all his songs too! My husband has said similar things to me regarding the kids, so I laughed out loud. I could almost hear my husband's voice!

I was surprised to hear it as well. I told my mom that i couldn't believe they were playing it on another show. Better thing would've been if he was there actually singing it in person.

I've never watched that show so I missed it, dang it all. I hear like the first 2 notes of it and I squeal and my mom is like"what?. don't do that", lol.
Your little boy is so cute. My baby cousin will start dancing when my ringtone starts.

As soon as i heard a few notes, I knew it was "Time of My Life" I held my breath for a little while hoping David would surprise us and appear. I guess there are no surprises, but it sure made me stop what I was doing...
I also admit, I Cookified my 21 year old college son. I dragged, I mean, took him to a concert. He was so impressed he mentioned Grammy after only a couple songs. I was so happy he was that impressed. Funny thing is we drove 5 hours to the concert and next to us was another mother and son, he was 11-they drove 7 hours and were driving back right away. He knew everything about him, had to get a David Cook poster to go next Sponge Bob.....

Good this makes me feel better that other people have kids who have inherited our David Cook Obsession! He also says to my husbands dismay, "me and mommy like dabid cook but not my daddy" HAHAHA makes me laugh everytime!!!
