This is for anyone who's watching it and what they think!


Personally, I think it is amazing what he is doing. He's a hero. And honestly, I've pretty much got teary eyed through the whole thing so far.

Totally turned off at places where people are talking about letting the squeefest begin. I think they lost the meaning of what is being done on this show. I'm glad that David got to do something that he felt meaningfull and it helped others. I need to reconsider what this fan thing is all about, I guess.

I just meant this was a place for people to talk about how AMAZING this show is and how they help so many that need help, nothing about a squeefest. I personally think this was an awesome thing that David is doing. I didnt mean anything by creating this thread.

I think what he did is very good. It is the fan reaction that I find unappealing. I really don't care how cute he is but what he is trying to do. I finally came to the conclusion that he could be on any show and people would go nuts. I just hope that people look a little further as to why he was on that show and not the fact that he was on the show. I do think he does try to do good works for a cause he believes in.

Why on earth are you apologizing??! Your original post was great---you were saying how great it was that this amazing thing was getting done.

And after just having watched it I thought it WAS a great show overall, and Cori (sp?) is wise and mature beyond her years. DC was wonderful as always....continuing to be the caring human being he has been right along.

I didnt mean for the post to turn into a "squeefest". I think this show is amazing and helps the people and the families that truly make a difference in the lives of everyone around them. That is what I meant- for people in the post to share their ideas about how they thought the show was. I know to Cori, David is a hero, and he is one to me also. Cori is wise and mature beyond her age and I believe that it takes so much courage, faith and hope out of a young girl like her to do what she is doing. I thought it was amazing that they made those pillows and were able to aution them off. I lost my grandfather to cancer this fall and I think that every single thing, even as big or as small, helps in more ways than anyone knows.

[size="3"][/size] I was so happy to see David on the MakeOver show. I always watch that show. Thanks David for all that you do!!!! I like that you still show yourself and your talents long after winning the American Idol show. Too many of the previous winners have seemed to have faded away. You are trully an American Idol on many ways! Love Ya'!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. To the other members here, does David really read these comments?? What is D.C.O. and does Twitter and MYSpace have more action and posts from David? Thank you.

Kiki, I'm not sure that David reads things here or not. I do think he does read some things over at DCO, which is David Cook Official and is his official site set up by RCA. He does read some Twitter, however, he has so many people following him, it is difficult to read every single tweet directed to him. If I were wanting to post something that he might actually read, I would probably direct it over to the DCO site rather than one of the unofficial sites like this one. You can try MySpace although I don't know how much he reads there. I do know he does try to read quite a bit of the feedback out there, which I consider smart. I always try to post as if he does read my comments, whether he does or he doesn't.
