Why is this woman still on my TV? Does she have some dirt on Simon and Nigel?
She is a complete and total embarrassment and if Idol wants to know why their ratings are down, all they have to do is look at Paula.
I mute my TV when she opens her mouth because 9 times out of 10 she is going to sputter out some nonsense that is meaningless.
Get rid of her, she is horrid!

Oh, Paula. She's such a wreck. Every week I cross my fingers and hope that she doesn't projectile vomit liquor all over the place or get a nosebleed from snorting something. She's got to be on something.
She's funny, yeah. Entertaining and sweet, even. But "trainwreck" describes her best.
But I think Randy is stupider than Paula. All he says is the same few lines ("Pitchy," "dog," "Molten hot," "I wasn't diggin' it") and he just looks fucking retarded. I'm sorry, but the sideways peace thing went out of style... oh, around the time Paula did. Not cool.
And Simon... uh. He's right most of the time, but we all know he only says such mean things to elicit responses from the audience. It's ridiculous how he pretends to be so high and mighty and this judging wonder when he handpicked... Leona Lewis.
Ladies and gentlemen, meet Mariah mixed with Amy Winehouse on heroin.
Whew. Sorry. I can't pick on one judge without picking on them all.
I say we throw them out and get people to judge music who actually
a] are respectable and
b] know what the hell they're talking about.

Paula has to be on the sauce- or something- to actually critique Jason's song BEFORE he sang it? And he is in the bottom two (according to dialidol.com) so if he goes home this week his fans are going have a field day with her remarks... "It's all her fault, she jinxed him by talking about his second song when he hadn't even performed it yet.." I can see it now.. just more drama for the show.. hey, at least it can be a drama free week for Our David, so that's nice to know..
And speaking of crating drama, THAT is exactly why she is on the show.. I think the whole thing was scripted... she can't be that idiotic to actually critique the song and even have the audacity to say "OMG, I
thought you sang twice already" when she knows damn well he didn't!
It's for ratings people.. Paula is a train wreck and they want America to tune in to see when she crashes next!
And another thing, do you really think Simon would keep her if she was THAT ignorant...
Hey, how many times do you think that that clip is going to be played on YouTube and all of the news channels websites? It's all a ratings game, I tell ya.. a ratings game...

I have to disagree. Most of us are annoyed when she's talking and I'd honesty, if David wasn't on, not watch the show because I don't like listening to people who don't know what they're talking about. I don't think it's for ratings. I think she's just crazy.
The problem is she's part of AI...you can't have AI with out Randy, Paula and Simon. If they deside to let her go they'd have lots of explaining to do.
She may be putting money into it also, who knows.

I've watched Idol since the second season and I've pretty much always respected what the judges thoughts and critiques were but last night was just about the saddest thing I've ever witnessed. This poor woman had no clue about what she was saying.. normally she mumbles and stammers her way through her responses but last night, she was completely incoherent and it's obvious SOMETHING is going on with her.
As for Randy, I appreciate his knowledge of music but he does need to expand his vocabulary a little more.
And Simon, ahhhh Simon.. he can be quite malicious with his words but most of the time I do tend to agree somewhat with his interpretation of the contestants.
Last night, DAVID DEFINITELY OWNED THE NIGHT!!!

Here's a clip of her oopsie last night:
http://gmy.news.yahoo.com/v/7615152#You know, and after listening to this and her response after the show ---
That DOES sound like she's telling the TRUTH!
It sounds like she swapped their performances -- her first she tells Jason (which was David's) that she loved hearing his lower register (which he was singing all low on I'm Alive). Her second song critique was saying it was empty, hollow, etc. Which explained Jason's performance...
Hmm.... well I still like Paula anyway, no matter what she's drinking or not drinking.

I never thought I'd see the day when Simon would be my favorite judge, but that's what's happened this season. Simon seems to be the only one on the panel who's actually genuine and not playing it up for the camera, ironically enough.
In past seasons I've always really liked Randy, because he is a true musician and producer and really does know his stuff. He used to give critiques that were actually constructive and insightful. Now I think he just chooses one of the following words/phrases at random:
"Pitchy"
"Dawg"
"The bomb"
"The one to beat"
"Blazing molten hot"
"It was just alright for me"
None of which say anything about what was good or bad about the performance. Say what you want about Simon, at least he usually backs up his critiques and specifies exactly what he liked and didn't like. That's the judges' job.
It seems like Randy and Paula are both just trying to play characters on a TV show, and it's starting to really annoy me.

My thoughts exactly. I've come to expect the "always find something good to say about you, even if it's just about your shoes" attitude with Paula...but Randy used to be fair. This season, he seems really slanted and repetative with his reviews. Also, i think Archie could get up there and sing Mary Had A Little Lamb, and Randy would call it "The Bomb".

Hi, guys
Well, about this whole Paula thing, maybe she was mistaken, I don't know, but here is ths thing: she needs to be more professional, I mean, come on, this is serious, they are dealing with one of the biggest tv shows in the world, and she presents herself completely lost. Plus, it's not the first time we see her behaving as if she had drank for the past 12 hours, there are plenty of videos of her in interviews where she looks completely high! If there is something wrong with her health (some say she has slipping problems, others say she has to take strong pills for a pain she has on her back and that demages her brain function sometimes), it would be more decent if she would just get a treatment. I was watching the video and had a hard time even trying to understand what she was saying, and not to mention the fact that I couldn't help by turning my face to the other side because I felt totally embarassed to witness that. It is embarassing, people!! Not only that special nonsense, but I always feel like she is judging someone from her family, her bosses daughter or something like that, she always has something cute to say, even if the performance was hideous, it feels so fake to me... Sorry for that, you didn't deserve to read my outburst against Paula, I do like her, but I'm getting really sick of it. Oh, and Randy is getting on my nerves too, he needs some reading to improve his vocabulary, of course it doesnt make of him a bad judge, but we've had better days of Randy, that's for sure...
Ok, now I'll go watch some Cookie videos and relax...

All the three judges are completely whacko or crazy but they are amuse us or at least me. most of the time I don't understand what the hell Paula talking about... she is mumble words or something that it's looks like she's talking to herslef. LOL! or Randy with his "you are my dog!" and he is like 50 years old! why he talks like that?
Paula comes across as a bit silly - I'm sure there's a better word to describe what I mean other than silly but I can't think of one right now. It's almost as though she gets tongue tied when she speaks.
My fave judge is Simon - not just because he's British

because I normally agree with what he says. He always tells it how it is.

it must be the one simon called a theme park preformance
i've always liked simon's comments, he's been my fave judge 'cause randys sort of boring w/ his vocab and paula's just paula and she pays way more attention to the clothes than the song. she dosn't care who's right, she just wants to disagree with simon

You are all right on with the comments about Randy... something is seriously wrong with him this season...
1. He uses the same, tired old lines every week and he never says anything original (or constructive) anymore.. (See list of his tired cliches listed above.)
2. And I agree that he overpraises little david-- EVERY WEEK IT'S: "This here is the boy to beat" (Um, Ok Randy.. you like little david.. you want little david to win.. We don't feel the same way as you do, but we hear you, OK?? So stop repeating it week after week for pete's sake!)
I am thinking that Jeff Archuleta has some sort of deal with Randy-- "Just keep on pushing my boy and you make sure you tell everyone, every single week that he is the one to beat- OUR ELSE!!" (Hey, I heard that he's a MAJOR stage dad and that he went backstage at Star Search and talked to a young girl and told her she could not beat little david.. so anything is possible!)
This is how I look at it..
Randy- same old, predictable lines..
Paula- same old act of being "unpredictable" ("This job is soooooooooo hard")
Simon- At least he speaks his mind, and I don't always agree with him, but I think he is the best judge by far!
Hey, $10 says that Randy will say "Dude, I will say it again, that was another bomb performance and you are definitely the one to beat!" (or something very close to that) after little david performs.. OR maybe he will pull a Paula and say it before he performs.... now that would be some funny stuff right there!!! LMAO

however, then they might shut idol down because of drunk or otherwise disabled judges
