I met him Tuesday at the taping. He was soo funny and sweet. I was impressed.

Didn't know if seeing him on stage during an AI taping counted as "meeting" him, but that's as close as I've gotten to meeting him. I was lucky enough to be in the pit (people standing). What I was able to see by the way he acted, he is a genuinely caring guy. He encouraged the other contestants, praised them even, and was as sweet as anyone could be.

I did scream my lungs off of course, and did get a wave and thanks from him. *smile*

I would love to 'meet him' meet him one day though, have a normal conversation and well.....the list goes on of things I would want to do if I ever 'met him' met him.

It's great to know that everything we think of him is true. All of the media we see about him--mags, AI, interviews--he seems so geniune, sweet, smart, and caring. He deserves everything good in life.

Lol I think it's always different when you meet the person for real... I am completely obsessed with Claudio Sanchez, and when I met him I thought I was gunna like pass out and whatever else, cause I had these terrible butterflies. But when I actually started to talk to him it was just like he was one of my friends. Mostly because he was so cool about everything.
So, if I were you I wouldn't be scared at all... David seems like one of those people who is just like "Evs" you know? If someone is being a dork or whatever, he'd prolly just laugh with you lol.
Well... I dunno exactly but that's the kind of vibe I get from him.
Anyway... It would be schweet it I got to meet David.

i've met Fall Out Boy and honestly, they're one of my most favourite bands and all the while when i was at the meet & greet with them i was either silent as a mouse, clumsy as hell and a complete blond but everything was alright because they were so nice to me, they knew i was nervous, cracked a few jokes so i'd laugh and they even made a fool out of themselves just to make me relax. knowing how nice of a person DC is, you shouldn't worry, i know he'll do something to make you feel more relaxed.

I too am in NC (Durham). I'm looking forward to traveling to Charlotte for the AI tour. (it will be my first and I feel like I'm going to be the oldest person there who didn't bring children!)

I totally feel as if I have met him. Just because it seems like I am a personality clone to him. My mom pointed it out after several interview videos that she watched.
It's very eerie that so far just about everything he has revealed about himself is just like me. The biggest difference is that he not a girl and is left handed.
Since I am older than he (I'm 30), I accuse him of stealing my life. I should be the next AI
