I was listening to the live version of Always be my baby and wow...
I got chills and I usually never get chills while listening to someones music but this is the first time I got chills while listening to one of his songs or any that he has performed.

He has the best voice ever I'm telling you.

i've definitely gotten chills on a few of his songs......both from AI and pre-idol...

the one that gets me EVERY TIME is on "AC".... he sings this one note on "every day" and holds it and omg..... everytime I hear it I just think.......my God, how does he do that?

Its the strangest feeling. I get so emotional when I see him perform, I literally have to stop the tears from coming out with some of his performances. And there are a couple/many songs either from AI or from Analog Heart that give me the chills when I hear them on my ipod.

He's an amazing performer. He sings with his heart, he feels what he's singing, and that's how he connects with his audience.

But yes, definitely, I get chills.

The first time I ever heard, "The Truth"...I was absolutely blown away.

I love that song.

I haven't gotten that feeling off of anyone in quite some time. This man's voice makes me weak,not even kidding. There's only one other man in the world who does that to me(not getting into that...lol) My first listen thru of Analog Heart I was just in shock....his voice,his lyrics,his music......it's just....DAYUM!

I get chills, and fever, everytime I listen to him. Doesn't matter if he sings or talks. It's crazy. Never happened to me before.

"Ever?" Are you kidding? Most likely too often while watching his performances I'm so proud of him and I get so emotional pretty much everytime I listen to his songs. Speaking by his own words, "if you want to know the truth, you make or break my day"

I've seen a ton of this kind of competitions, seen so many good or even great singers, but only very few of them could pass the level he's on.

Yes, I get chills when I listen to his music and it's happen very often. that's why he's such am amazing and why I love this guy. he give me chills just from hearing his voice

I get chills every week when I watch him perform

His voice is just so pure, raw, and powerful that his singing touches my heart. Oh yeah, I get the chills everytime too.

In every single song I've heard him sing, there is a verse or a tone of his voice or just the way he sings something that sends chills up my spine....

In "Always Be My Baby"... that line "Now you wanna be freee.. yeah"... every time I get cold chills and a flutter in my tummy.....

Yep... I remember that I got the chills really bad the first time I heard "The Finish Line."

The way he sings the chorus and makes you wait for it...it's just.... amazing... like everything that David does!

And from the song "Balance" when he sings: " Well this is my I love you..... this is my fare thee well.." Yeah, I was in a deep freeze for a minute when I first heard that line...

Ah, he is such a complex man.. So hot on the outside and yet his very words can give off such chills...

Chills, yes, and I have broken into spontaneous tears on several occasions, once kind of hysterically. I can't seem to stay calm, cool and collected when Cook is on.

His song "Silver" gives me chills, goosebumps, and brings tears to my eyes all the time...I LOVE THAT SONG! (Of course, I love David, too...)

I think someone on here mentioned about the ache in the heart, not a bad ache at all. David just has a way of touching your soul. That is the only way I can explain the feeling.

As crazy as this is I was listening to him on my Ipod today (surprise!) and I had to go into the bathroom and cry. There are some songs he sings that just do that to me.

I liked him in auditions, hollywood week, beatles weeks, etc...but Hello gave me chills and started this crazy obsession.

I get chills every week he is an amazing singer. When he preformed Music of the Night my mom cryed. I shiverd and went thud when he looked into the camra Holly Snikies I want to belong to him for sure!!!!

I have a question what song is the line "you make me fall forever with no end in sight" from for the life of me I can't remember. I want to search for the montage video with that song on Youtube I only listed to it once and cant remember the title. Please help!

OMG, yes! Many, many chills! When he sings "Only then can you belong to me" on Music of the Night...camera zoomed in close on his bedroom eyes. His voice really blows me away, too....especially on the studio version of Little Sparrow...the last 30 seconds or so of the song are acapella and he gives me goosebumps all over! Amazing voice, beautiful man. *Sigh*

Not only chills...cry infact...theres something that i cant explain in davids voice..it makes me weak...when i played it in my car i almost forgt that i was driving..i closed my eyes one time...all his songs hv meaning to me...analog heart, all his performances in AI all AMAZING!!!

Yes, especially during the live performances of “Hello”, “Eleanor Rigby”, “Billie Jean”, and “Music of the Night” and always at the exact same moments.

And when I showed some of my friends his performances, they also got the chills at the exact same times as I do during all of them. They’d grab their arms and were like, “Oh goosebumps!”

You know there is something special about his singing when it evokes more senses than just the hearing of the music.

Hello, Music of the night, Always be my baby, AC, The Truth, Let Go, Innocent (the live-version, guess which part ). The list goes on forever, there is just something so intense about his voice and the emotion in his performances. Oh, and I've definitely been in tears more than once...

When I saw him at his audition I was like *wow there's something about him* Then during Hello I got chills for the first time...now they won't stop!! haha

One time when I was listening to it, I stopped breathing for a few seconds, and then all of a sudden I started to breath really hard from lack of oxygen. My friend was like 'are you okay?... ' It was kind of scary actually...and I told my other friend and she was like 'David Cook really IS going to be the death of you!'

In almost every song I listen to by him, yes.

If I had to pick ones that really hightened the sensation, though, it would probably be MOTN and ABMB and most of Analog Heart

I absolutely get chills. Only a few singers have ever touched me
in the way David does with his voice and his music. Josh Groban
is one of them ... if you've ever heard him live, you get it too.

I noticed during MOTN that I stopped breathing several times ...
right around the power notes especially. I get this feeling deep in
my gut that just leaves me breathless!!!

He connects to us with his emotions. You can FEEL what he's
singing, but not in the traditional sense. I know that sounds strange,
but he just connects. It makes no difference what the song is ... he
just does it to ya!! Someone else said something about they noticed
something different during the audition. Me too. I felt something but
really couldn't put my finger on it at the time. Now he just grabs you
and holds you hostage with his voice.

Then there's looking at him. That fnishes you off .... in a good
kind of way!

i played "billie jean" for one of my friends and he made me rewind it because he was getting chills, i was so excited to convert someone to the cook side
