I know we all LOVE David for so many different reasons, but as I was listening to Let Go today (for about the millionth time I might add) I really got into the guitar rift. He is amazing (well we already knew that) but it just adds to the whole package. Most of the pictures I have of David are with him & his guitars... when's he's singing and playing .. he is totally in his "happy place" Am I the only one who sees that?

I think one of the reasons I initially fell in love with David Cook is because he plays a Les Paul. I don't play guitar, but my dad is a guitar enthusiast and he's rubbed off on me so I'm kind of a nerd about them, and I love Les Pauls, so the first time I saw him playing his during All Right Now I was like, sweet, this dude's got good taste. My dad always told me he always wanted a kid named Les after Les Paul and that's where my name (Leslie) came from. I was never sure if he was telling the truth or not, but knowing my dad, I wouldn't be surprised.

But yes, David is a very talented player, and that's awesome. My biggest pet peeve is guys who just, like, hold guitars and carry them around because it makes them look cool. I know an authentic musician when I see one, and DC definitely fits the bill. I'm not one of those girls who drools at the sight of a guy holding a guitar, but if he can actually play it, that's another story.

and the way he plays the guitar is different..i dont know...theres something in him that makes the audience chills...

The first thing that attract me into him it's that he play a gutiar and the way he play it. I remember when I first saw him performance with the guitar I got chills and that another from many reason why I love him.

I see it.... and it's the mark of an amazing musician.. he takes his craft serious and wants to be the best he can be.. it shows.. he's amazing in every way!!!

He's an artist and used to perform with his guitar. I'm just wondering, does he feel somewhat naked without it. I know some musicians are in trouble if they step out of their comfort zone, they just can't live without their most precious.
