any one going to the AC show on august 2nd?

I might be going. I live in brooklyn,ny and i was looking for ny dates but they all hit on a weekday and i work from 9-5 and the only one that is good for me is august 2 in atlantic city,nj

I know I found out that the tickets go on sale on May 17th but do you know when the tickets go on sale, is it just a limit time or are the tickets on sale for a couple of weeks?

I wanna go and might go...I live more near Philly, but if someone's willing to give me a ride, I'd pay for gas and I'd be eternally grateful!

poptarts presale is may 13th. ticketmaster starts on the 17th.

hey as of today (hopefully will come to reality) me and my friends are going to Atlantic City for the Aug 2nd tour too. We're working here in Bermuda and it will be really great if we go. Anyhow do you know the ticket prices for the show?

I check the ticket master and Boardhall walk website but there's none there. maybe they'll just release it altogether? any thoughts?

I ended up with 2nd row on the right side of the stage.

I will be at this show also. I got FL5, row 3. I am not happy with being on the floor but it is better than being in the back of the place. Seems I am about dead center of the floor, ummm, ok. Velvetsun, you are lucky!! I actually prefer to be to the side of the stage, dunno why, lol.

I am also only 5'4, so I am hoping to at least catch a glimpse of Cookie, LMAO.

Wachovia in Philly sells their tickets through www.comcasttix.com, not Ticketmaster. Same pre-sale password (poptarts). Enter the password at the top of the screen before selecting your tickets. I got my tickets this morning--Section 112!

omg i just got tickets!!! i am so excited!!! i was trying to get tickets for philadelphia, but for some reason they weren't available on ticket master. oh well, i still get to go!!! the drive is longer, but at least i dont have to cross the bridge and pay the toll lol. so i've never seen idols live before. has anyone else ever seen the idols live tour, and if so, could they tell me what to expect so i can tell my friend who doesn't watch the show but i'm dragging along with me????

honestly i don't know. This is my first idol tour and i guess if it's presale we should get better seats right? try this, www.stubhub.com this is where my friends got the tickets but i think it's more expensive here - they have a mark up or something, but try and just check, you might get good seats!

The floor seats, it says the rows on it but you are standing, i am assuming it doesn't matter since you are standing lol

if you want my advice. i'd say try to get tickets right when they go onsale to the general public before paying the mark up at stubhub. but of course i may be already too late if you already bought them

i posted this in another thread but i believe that with most presales, a set number of seats are released that are scattered about the venue. you may be able to still get some decent seats if they were held until the general sale. and then if there still isn't seats you are happy with, you can pay at the broker.

they tend to release tickets as it gets closer to the concert date as well... so my advice in general, is to just keep looking.

but if you want to, pay the insane prices just to guarantee your seat on the floor. btw... there are seats, it's not general admission floor, you aren't standing... go for whatever you think is best for you.

i didn't have anybody to drag with me, so i just bought a ticket for myself. i'm sure i'll end up squeezed between two tweeny archie fans given my luck.

I did get the tickets in my hands yet, just ordered on ticketmaster and it said the seat numbers in the email I got from them.

I totally agree...we need to meet up before the show and try and find the buses. It's much easier to meet them before the show then after (I say this from past experience). So we need to try and set up a time and place to meet up and then head out in search of Cookie.

I'm going to try to get on the earliest bus possible and get out there way before the show starts. I don't care what my friend wants to do, he has no choice, besides he wants to meet Cookie too

I know the area pretty well...so i'm thinking maybe meeting somewhere on the boardwalk. Very easy to find.

How about we just meet in the lobby of the hotel, we should all also exchange phone numbers when it gets closer to the concert (or now). I'm a chatterbox lol. This way incase we're not allowed to stay in the hotel lobby (as most hotels won't let you do) we can make alternative plans.
