So does anyone here love this book series?
I am a huge fan. biggrin.gif I'm still in the 2nd book though. I'm reading it right now. xD
XODCfoxXO
OMG, the third is DEFINETLY the BEST of the series!!!<3 i cant wait for the 4th (and the movie) tongue.gif

oh, could u imagine DC as Edward....amazingness wink.gif
sourire =)
Robert Pattinson doesn't look a tiny bit Edward-y at all. =/ It will ruin the whole movie for me! Ugh. How did he get the role. I wish it was Gaspard Ulliel instead. (Just my opinion)

Lol, DC as Edward. xD -imagines-

Yeah I cannot wait for the 4th book! =D
Rye
LOVE the books. Not as much as I love Anne Rice's (the queen of all vampire stories!) novels, but OMG. -insert spazz attack here-
It's sad. Up until DC, I had a mad crush on Edward. That's, like, two and a half years of crushing on a fictional character. It always happens to me - with Artemis Fowl and Eragon, too. Heh.

Am I the only one who likes the first book the most so far? I think it has to do with the fact that there's scarcely any Jacob in it. I don't know what it is about the kid that bugs me, but he does. Probably more than he should.

I have sad, sad predictions about the fourth book. I don't think I'll voice them. :X

Heh. I want Henry Caville to play Edward. tongue.gif
Not that I'm going to see the movie anyway. I can't stand most of the cast.

And I have this strange thing going on about me regarding my favorite novels turning into films - with the exception of The Lord of the Rings and possibly even the Narnia movie, the book is always better. And that's not really a surprise.
However, after the movie, I start to envision the characters as the actors that portrayed them. And when the actors are people you personally don't like? Phooey.
So I'll be sitting at home that weekend while listening to my dad rant confusedly about why the hell I'm not going out to see the film when I loved the books that much. At which point he'll hold his arms open to gesture just how much he means. dry.gif

Hahaha same here :]
but i still love Edward though...

what do you guys think is going to happen to Jacob?
alkanto
These books are absolutley amazing! Personally, I like the first as well, Rye. Not really sure why, but I certainly don't mind.

Oh, DC as Edward would be hot! Now I think I have re-read them all before the 4th book...my inner Edward might be chaning a little this time around tongue.gif
davidschic
OMG!!! I absolutely love all of the books in the series too and I was thinking that David might not be able to play Edward in the movie (hey, we don't know if he can act, ok??) BUT that if they asked David to sing the theme song for the movie, that would be awesome..

Can you imagine David singing AS Edward? It would be spectacular!

Mandy,
I wish I knew what is going to happen to Jacob.. there is a lot they could do with his character, that's for sure.. I think he will try to convince Bella to leave Edward - again- which we know would never happen... but maybe something happens where he thinks he has a chance with her.. well, I didn't even know there was a 4th book planned so I am excited about that fact- I am sure it will be as good as the other 3... so that's good news!

Love, love, love, love, love these books! An amazing series. Can't wait for Breaking Dawn! biggrin.gif

You had a crush on Artemis Fowl? Oh, I definitely see that. Boy genius, killer intellect, born-to-be bad-ass. I just finished The Lost Colony not a few days ago. That series is fantastic!

Whoa......
yes.
Lol laugh.gif

OH YES, I love, love, love, love...LOVE (!!! lol) the Twilight series. I got into them around Christmas and I've read all of them twice since then. Like Rye said, I like the first book the best because it doesn't have very much Jacob in it. I've never been a fan of his. I know a lot of people are, but not myself LoL I guess I'll always hold a place in my heart for the first book, just because of the fact that it IS the first one and that it was what got me so into the story and the characters, gosh, I love the characters. I love the whole Cullen family. I just can't get enough of this series.

I can't wait for Breaking Dawn to come out. I already have it pre-ordered. August can't come soon enough laugh.gif I just want to read it SO bad LoL I can't imagine being one of the Twilight series fans who have been waiting longer than I have. I mean, when I discovered the series, I had three books that I had to read to catch up, but with the long-time fans, they've been waiting forever laugh.gif

Oh and HENRY CAVILL was totally my pick for Edward, also...just sayin' smile.gif Robert Pattison HAS grown on me though. I HATED the choice of him as Edward in the beginning, but now that I've seen promo shots from the movie and all, I think he'll be fine. Definitely not my first pick, though.

Ok, I could rave all day about Twilight, but I'll shut up now LOL

I love Twilight too!
It's really odd though because my very creepy English teacher also likes them too, and she always goes on about it in the middle of class and it's quite scary if you ask me.

But alas! I cannot deny that I am secretly a bit obsessed with the books, I read the first one Christmas day two years ago, and now I can't wait for the fourth one to come out! And the movie! Even though I'm a bit afraid to see if they butchered it.. but I think they might have done a decent job. I dislike the actress playing Bella, but I love Edward, he's just so "Edwardy" to me smile.gif As for the rest of the cast, eh. Steven Strait should've been Jacob, but hey, I didn't pick the cast so it's cool.

I could go on about this for QUITE a while, so I'm going to go do some more art history now, bye!

Twilight is like my obsession. For seriously.
I can't see Gasper or Henry Cavill as Edward.
Henry seems a little... Oldish to me to be playing Edward and Gasper's just a little creepy looking to me.
I don't know what it is.

I love Edward, but I just love Jacob. Jake's got his temper, but he seems fun to be around. He's young, you know, and not completely uptight about life. Edward barely even laughs.
But for Bella, I like Edward. God knows she'll never find anyone else as uptight as her.
My favorite character is Alice. She reminds me of myself. I'd love to see more of her. (She's one of my fave casting too!)

I've done so many papers for school on Twilight and turned so many of my friends into "fanpires."

Am I the only one happy with the casting? I think everyone's gorgeous.

Jacob's just very annoying and persistent, he keeps on interfering with Bella and Edward..
But I guess I apreciate him there, because if there was no conflict, there'd be no book!

Best book series. I fell in love with the series right away. The last book is best.. Except for a few scenes that irritated me somewhat. >> I don't care for Jacob. i'm a BellaxEdward fan. I can't wait for the last book and the movie.
blankmind3
I love the new trailer too!

I love both Jake and Edward. While Jake is persistent, Edward's very stubborn and kinda one-sided.
Like, I said, I love both. I'm not gonna start fighting about it though. That's kinda immature lol
pirate skittles!
The teaser is not enough. x_x

I'm waiting on the full-on trailer, by the way. XD
One that would hopefully be about 2 minutes long. *gulp*

Gahh, well, to be honest, I don't like NM and Eclipse. My favorite pretty much remains Twilight, the first installment. I'm not really sure why, but Bella got annoying for me.

Have you guys read Midnight Sun--the chapter one at Steph's website at least? It's awesome. =D

I would have definitely much preferred Eddie's POV over the things that happened.

Hmm, actually, I would actually prefer if it was a third person POV in NM and Eclipse. Yeah. LOL!

ETA i love Taylor Lautner as Jacob! XD
