Hurry! Ticketmaster has seats! *laughs* I've been looking every day to find 2 "better" Seats together than the ones i have, and i snagged a couple of better ones There are two in section 215 up right now if anyone needs some!

I'd be all up for going somewhere around Allstate at like 10 for breakfast. We'll be so pumped anyway..I wanna get there ASAP.

YES! I think I'd be able to eat before meeting the Idols rather than after because I wouldn't want to leave the buses at all. I'd be afraid we'd miss them if we went to lunch or something.

I mentioned earlier, that it was my plan to get there SUPER early....but due to my son's swim meet, I wont be there until later....so I will probably miss out on the buses (Husband and I had an argument over this....in the end, I realized, my sons swim meet IS more important than seeing David....haha.....although the fantasy side of my brain begs to differ, the reality side IS right!) BUMMER!

but yeah, we should pick a date and place and start planning!

Ok..... I've got my "in" with Fox... and i've got my "in" with Rosemont .... and can you believe that every "in" I have tells me there are no official backstage passes being given out... the hour press is booked, and there will be no meet and greet. I'm seriously depressed now. *laughs* I'd never believe it if just one person told me, but i'm getting stone walled by everyone!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr When i get there i will have one last trick to pull out of my hat, but that usually doesn't work, either ROFL!!

Im off that day, and i am available ALLLLL day, and would love to meet up with everyone! Lunch, Dinner, Drinks sound great!!! I have no idea where to park, if we park in the hotel lot, how do we pay - do we have to pre-arrange or what?

We're in 101. I went online the second they went on sale and was surprised when no main floor tickets came up. Those must be taken ahead of time by brokers or something. Still I was happy with what we got. I'm going with my two teenagers. On another board I suggested that the IL fans get together and send a welcome gift like some other cities are doing. I have no idea how to get it to him! Any ideas? Are any of you IL fans Cougars?

I'm excited about my seats now. It just seems strange that they're that good because I bought them about a month ago from the Ticketmaster website.

I'm all about meeting up early! I think I'll bring some snacks and water in my bag, because after breakfast that's the last time I'll be eating all day! I won't leave the bus area until showtime!

There's going to be so many people there. I worry that 10am is too late. What do you guys think?

Yeah, Nicole was online that very second too and didn't get anything. I don't think anyone got anything good for this show unless you were willing to pay hundreds of dollars.

We're in rows A and B, so we're probably right behind you! It seems like there's so many people sitting in 101! Hopefully there aren't any other fanbases sitting there, bc we're totally gonna be taking over the section! We're already planning a meet up over at IdolForums..and the more the merrier! We need to show David that he is very much appreciated here.

Also, the Idols themselves have mentioned doing M&Gs in almost every interview they've done..so I think that's a good indication that they're doing it.

Snacks would be a good idea. We'll probably go shopping before or that morning to get stuff. Once I'm stationed by that bus area, I don't want to leave either.

Gah..I don't know if 10am is too late. I mean, the busses won't get there till noon at the earliest. I never thought about that being too late though, so now I'm kinda worried too.

I'm in for whatever everyone thinks is best. I would think that getting there at 10 am would be good, but then again i've never done anything like this before, so I'm not sure. I am definitely too old for this...but it's going to be a blast, I'm hoping we get the chance to meet and see him...

So now we know what we're looking for....they left LA today for the tour...

I'm still planning on between 10 and 11, but any earlier than that I think I'd regret it.

I love waiting in line! It's so fun to hang with other fans. I do it for smaller bands all the time (Tegan and Sara, Death Cab for Cutie).

Merengo is a little more than half-way to Rockford coming from Chicago. I go through Merengo whenever I take US-20 to get to Rockford.

Very cool. If we have breakfast at 10, (depending on how busy the place is) will that be enough time to make it back to the bus area before they arrive? I've never done anything like this before so I don't know how many people will show up early...I was thinking with DC's popularity, the place might be mobbed..

Also from other venues, it sounds like, as long as we're calm security is pretty cool, and our chances would be good for meeting him.

I think it should be fine, as long as the place isn't mobbed with people and we sit down fairly soon after we get there. Plus, the busses probably won't arrive till 11:30-12, so I think we'd get there just in time. The IHOP is right across the street from the arena!

I think after reading Lindz's experience, we'll be good..David will disobey security anyway.

Thats a good idea Stacey about checking out the line first...that's why i was thinking that maybe having breakfast an hour earlier would be the way to go..

But I do think we should all stick together, it will be a blast and the more the merrier.
