I just hope we all get a chance to have a cool experience with him and all the other idols. I'm also hoping that there is a way for us to get pictures with all of them! Maybe we could make a tiny gap between each gate so we can get through for photos? I just made myself laugh... for some reason this makes me feel creepy.

Well, I am pretty darn skinny (esp. right now b/c I havent been eating or sleeping like I should with all of this
Cookie-mania going on) so I can squeeze thru about anything (in college, I used to crawl thru the phoneboxes
that connected dorm rooms when people got locked out of their room!--I should've charged for that, I wouldnt have
been so broke all the time!). So if noone is up for jumping or climbing over the barriers (LOL)
then I'll stealthily (sp?) sneak in and drag him/them over to us (very nonchalant and politely of course!)

Honestly, not to worry, I think we all have the right vibe on this...think we have angels on our side & destiny
is calling!! 4 more days! 4 more days! 4 more days!...

I just hope that it's FINALLY my time to meet some Idols. I'm sick of it not happening..

That dude is wacky, but he completely cracks me up.

I'm thinking optimistically about David and his knee now. I'll just keep praying that he'll be ok and get some rest on their days off. There's no way that he won't perform, he can definitely sit on a stool. I'm happy as long as he's there and performing for us. We all know that he won't be able to sit on it for the whole time either, so he'll be moving around (IF this happens.. which I hope it doesn't).

So... 96.5 hours from now we'll all have met the Idols and be all giddy waiting to get inside the venue.

I'll go thru thread and make sure everyone has the pic requested for the big day I'll also bring a few extras!!!

I'm getting so worried about David spraining his knee. I really hope he takes care of it while they're off for a few days after tonight so he's okay by Saturday.

I believe he hurt himself jumping down off the railing last night, not during the backbend. He did go to the AP and he signed for about an hour..refusing to sit down. I think after that he went to ice it.

No fear guys..he'll be out there for us, even if he has to sit down on a stool.

Hey everyone, I wanted to let you know that on the AI forums an Archie posted about getting autographs and pics today. She said Cookie was out there and was very nice. So hopefully his knee is OK and we now know he was being his usual wonderful self when the busses rolled in today.

I haven't read any other posts on this forum about Utah yet but obviously you all have heard about David's knee injury. But to set the record straight, David Cook was NOT there today, I don't know what that person is talking about! Me and my friend D who are SF bay area word nerds decided to fly to Salt Lake at the last minute yesterday. We arrived around 10:30 and went straight to the buses, huge line, we were at the end, only saw Syesha and KLC. DC did not come out due to the knee injury. At breakfast We met a fan who was at after party last night and met Cook there, said he was limping. Today we waited in HOT sun all afternoon from 12 to 4, David did NOT come out. We talked to Michael Johns about it and asked is David's knee ok? He said not really, he hurt it pretty bad. We also talked to Ray, the security guy who travels with them, who confirmed DC would probably not be coming out before the show and was still limping today. I had brought a letter to give him after the discussion a few of us had after Sacramento when I felt bad I didn't get to tell him some stuff, and my friend and I also brought some tylenol to give him with a note on it to get better. Since it became apparent he wasn't coming out, I managed to give both to a nice woman who was joking that she couldn't think up a name on the spur of the moment (didn't want to tell me her real one) and then said call her Clarabelle. She apparently was someone who worked with the Idols, she'd come out from inside the arena through the back gates while the other Idols were signing and doing pix this afternoon, and had been talking to Ray when I got her attention. She said she'd give the items to David so I hope she did! I told him in the letter to look for his Bay Area Word Nerds in the 5th row of the floor (YES We got those tix for regular price on ticketmaster yesterday if you can believe it!) and so I hope he does! Hey Gang, Just called Allstate because I wanted to see if I could bring my big zoom lens and they put me through to security. The first lady said small digitals and disposables and then security said right now just disposables, but he said to call later in the week about what kind of cameras will be allowed because each case is different. If I can bring my big camera I will get amazing pictures. Let's hope...

Hopefully with some rest today and then rest the next 2 days, he'll be good to go on saturday. I'm sure right now it's a pre-caution so that he could perform tonight. I think it would take more than a sprained knee for him to stay away from the fans when he's only in the city for a day. Keep positive thoughts, that's all we can do right now.

Ok guys-Danny called one of the cellcasters and asked her about Cookie-she said he didn't do a backbend, but other than that his set was normal-she was at the concert last night too..So no mention of being hurt, no limp, that is a VERY good sign. David has 2 days to rest up now and the way I understood Castro's Vlog, they are flying to ST Louis...that is good too. He will be fine guys

hmm, when I called the other day, the lady said small cameras were allowed..and my boss does security on the side and confirmed that for allstate, as long as it isn't a professional camera, i.e., a removeable lens, you're good to go

Here is an update on what happened last night in SLC, i found this on another thread by kentuckykat

"He was limping a bit tonight and seemed like he was being careful with it. It was bandaged under his jeans, if you knew he'd been hurt, you'd probably notice it, but not necessarily if you hadn't heard he'd hurt it. He didn't come out for autographs this afternoon, but he did come out after the show. Nope, no bending over backwards tonight! I doubt he'll do that again any time soon, if at all again! He really rocked out with his guitar, but not with as much movement around the stage. It didn't really matter, everyone loved him to death anyway! He seemed really moved by the crowds tonight, more even than yesterday. He was getting lots of lovin' from the crowds! There was an amazing amount of guys in the audience tonight it seemed, whether with girlfriends or not and they seemed to really like David and Michael especially. "


So he's still coming out to see the fans, i'm sure by saturday he'll be out before the show.

On the news this morning, the weatherman said if it does rain, it'd be more toward the evening hours. Hopefully that's true...or there won't be rain at all.
