OMG!!!! I am so, so, so EXCITED! That is great news! We may just meet our boy yet, ladies!!!
After hearing what a downer the formal "Meet & Greet" has been for many fans, I think we'll have better luck this way! I also heard that it's virtually impossible to get the 'After Party' passes. You pretty much have to know the Idols personally or know someone significant who works at the Verizon center. I hadn't heard of ANY giveaways on the radio stations.
Someone mentioned that some Idol fans were meeting around 5pm for dinner at the RFD, wherever that is???

Hi DC FANS!!!

Thanks to REINHAV for putting up my cryptic message. I "advanced" the Verizon Center bus parking and it looks like the buses just park on the street, like I thought but there are already barricades set up. So, the deal is this. The barricades are up around 6th street, about 1/4 way down block from F Street. Just around the corner from the Green Turtle. The manager of the Green Turtle will be my new best friend by tomorrow and we have a reserved area for 10 (I counted how many I thought had been on this board) so if you want to grab a place and then go wait for the buses, come on it, the reservation is under my name at the moment, but I will change it by tomorrow morning. I will be there around 11 am; but the reservation is for 11:30 am. If someone can peruse the boards, as I will and see what time the buses got to Philly, we'll just go out about 1/2 before the buses or when the crowds come.

For anyone that cannot come that early, we are going to meet for drinks at Rosa Mexicana, which is straight across the street from the Verizon Center's 7th and F Street entrance. On F Street. We will be there at about 4pm. Geeze, who knows.

Looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can. This has been really fun.

WE DID IT!!!

I just received a PM from a wonderful person, who I will name if I get her permission, who is sending in a $100 donation to the team!! This brings us to $1510!!

I cannot express just how amazed I am by this. In under 2 weeks we were able to accomplish this huge number. Seriously, thank you to everyone!!

We had a great time and while I would love to give you some insight into it, I just found out the Girls won a Gold Medal, so I want to watch the Gymnastics Award ceremony. All I can say after seeing the American Idol and then the Olympics. God Bless America!!!

(this is joy!) i had a BLAST w/ all of you and was so proud to be a part of the group and watching him be so appreciative when Jess was telling him about the money raised......I have about 6 videos of the whole thing.....
