Those are really awesome HQ pics. Can you imagine being a celebrity and having people view your face THAT CLOSELY? OMG I would die. Cookie is so lucky, he even looks great up close and personal. He has very nice skin!!!

I think its hazel eyes, but not 100% sure on that so I sent Jenna a PM message about the eye color. Christina Word Nerd#2772

Dave's eyes are hazel, meaning they look greenish-blue, and there are golden brown circles just around the pupils. His eyes are amaaaazzzing!!!!

Hazel is more a combo of brown and green (which is what I have). He has more of a blue and green combination, almost a kind of darker teal.

His eyes are amazing. Just gorgeous and they change color depending on what he's wearing so it seems.

My husband's eyes are hazel, too, and they are greenish-blue. They seem to change colors with what he's wearing.

OK...I bit the bullet and gazed deep into his eyes (in pictures ). He has grey eyes...but you can also say hazel:
"Gray eyes have less melanin than blue eyes, even though they are considered a darker shade of blue (like blue-green). ...Visually, gray eyes often tend to appear to change between the shades of blue, green and gray. This is said to be influenced by the lighting and the surroundings (such as clothes, makeup, etc.).
In North America, "hazel" is often used to describe eyes that appear to change color, ranging from light brown to green and even gray, depending on current lighting in the environment."( Eye colors )

In some pictures you can see golden speckles around his pupils...so you can also say hazel for simplicity's sake, although hazel usually tends more to green-brown. Either way, he has cool eyes!

Maybe someone on tour can just ask him what he puts on his driver's license and clarify the whole issue. (That is, if Oklahoma requires the eye color on driver's licenses anymore. I don't think Texas does, though my license begs to differ with its little mocking HZL on it.)

I agree that he has gray eyes with gold flecks around the pupils. My little brother has gray eyes that are a bit darker than DC's but very similar (minus the gold). My mom, however, has hazel eyes and her's are more brown-green than DC's. But his could surely pass for gray/hazel/blue/green depending on the day and outfit. I have boring brown eyes (thanks Dad!). Oh well, my bf has green eyes so I get to stare into those. Lucky me!

I do too kinda. I thought "pre-makeover" David was pretty hot too. Don't get me wrong...he looks amazing now, but I certainly didn't mind him with a few more pounds and before the haircut. He still has those great eyes, great smile/laugh, and let's not forget those arms.
