If its true then I think they are good choices for him, but the Bob Marley thing is a little obvious so it makes me skeptical that this is true.

Actually, i don't think I Shot The Sheriff is good choice at all. But then, that's just me.

What I want to know is, why is it that Jason's song choices are always leaked before anyone else? I mean, these are usually right each week, so it's just odd that his are spoiled so much earlier then the others.

I don't know. That's a good point though. I think Jason will do well with "I Shot the Sheriff" if he goes in the Eric Clapton route instead of Bob Marley. But who knows?!?!?!? We'll have to just wait and see I guess. Is it 8pm yet? I need my Cookie fix!

I just don't think he's putting in the effort anymore. I think that wore off for him a while back now.
As the judges have said, he's not 'himself' anymore.

And what I read in that article about him thinking the 150 balloons sent from his fans for being sick was "weird," or when his brother and friend came to visit and he blew off his practice time... or how he completely messed up with Neil Diamond in not being prepared -- and how obvious it was that he wasn't prepared for ALW.

I think he's still mellow and having some fun. The only time he seemed a little uptight was when the dolphin made that sudden move--LOL! That was funny as heck. Also, to me, the fans in Vegas were too physical with Jason, especially grabbing at his hair like that.

*slaps forehead* Jason, Jason, Jason...just want to shake him and ask, "What are you thinking?!?!"

That disgusted me. These kids are people just like you and me. You wouldn't want to have your space violated like that, would you? I absolutely don't believe in trying to grab them or even to touch them. I am not above shaking hands with them or giving them a hug should they innitiate it but never take it upon myself to make the first move. I do realize that it is common behavior towards some entertainers, though. I have seen it time and time again with Bo Bice. People would try to grab his hair. I even saw a few times women try to kiss him. I just couldn't get over the lack of consideration towards another human being. That lack of respect has really gotten me angry. I have always believed in giving them their space. I'm sure it would make their experience much more enjoyable for them if everyone did. And, to me, my show of support towards this person includes trying to make sure they have the best experience they can possibly have.

I'm really surprised by how quiet the boards are as far as supposed spoilers go today. I know most people wait for the TMZ stuff, but usually there are tons of stuff bouncing around about all the contestants by now. Here it is 2pm (est) and we still only have the spoiler about Jason.

What happende in Vegas on Jason's part was plain appalling, in my opinion.

Sure, these so-called fans want a piece of him, but tuggin' him by his hair is pure barbaric.

On the other hand ... still no news on what Cookey will be singing. Ah well, I'll only know when I watch Idol on TV later tonight. Sighz~

He REALLY doesn't want to be there does he? Wow...I can't believe he chose that as one of his songs. I just said in another thread that I think he's going to be mocked for choosing that song. I'm not trying to be mean because I like Jason somewhat, I mean I liked him last week when no one else did BUT, I think that's a horrible song choice for him.

As for "Mr. Tambourine Man"...I think he'll do a good job with this one. Although, it might be said that it's too safe and too predictable. But, if he can change it up a little and maybe make it his own (like DC does every week), he might redeem himself after "I Shot The Sheriff"...maybe.

Oh well...the person who really matters is DC. Where are his spoilers! I want to know before I leave for class

Oh, and my song predictions for Jason weren't even close to what he chose I don't even remember "I Shot The Sheriff" being on that list of songs...was it?

There are a bunch of people on MJ's blog commenting about how his doing ISTS is his way of showing people he's all about redemption and that he's in it to win it. Frankly, i see it in the opposite way.

As for Mr Tambourine Man? Well..it might work. But tempo wise, it's so incredibly slow and boring (and i'm a Dylan fan).

Redemption? Like you said...I see it as the opposite. When I saw that he was doing that song, I just shook my head and said, "You really want to go home don't you?" LoL

This person said that Cookie was going to do the songs War & House Of The Rising Sun.

Now...according to the people at IDF this site is always wrong, so i didn't panic about the song choices (War??!), but i have to say the person writing it should go into writing Fan Fic instead. talk about over the top and melodramatic.

Oh, and there was also a comment about how David really wanted to do Anarchy in The UK, but changed his mind at the last minute.
