Haha. Sorry. You brought it up so I just had to show a little Aggie pride. I'm not an Aggie (although, I might be in the future) but it's in my blood. Represent!

Anyway, I'll miss Jason. I know a lot of people didn't like him, and I understand that, but I really enjoyed him and I think he's got a lovely voice, especially in his studio recordings. And I think he has a niche and will have a career either way. Meanwhile, I'm going to miss his stupid faces and retarded antics for the next two weeks. Jason was hella entertaining. Rock on, brother.

i was a jason fan. i feel sad now that he left. i would have rather Syesha leave but jason's time came to an end not to mention that he didnt want to be there anymore. best of luck to Jason and his career.

i'm going to miss jason as well. i really liked him. imo, i just feel that he blew it big time last night and completely on purpose, which was a big slap in the face to his fans, AI, and all those who got voted off before him and actually wanted to still be there. i understand that he wanted to go home, but i just feel that his "i don't give a sh*t" attitude went a little too far this week. i wish him all the best though, and if i end up going to the tour i will still be happy to see him perform and will probably buy whatever album he puts out. all the best jason, i hope that going home is really what you wanted to achieve this week, and i hope it makes you happy.

There is a part of me that will miss Jason too. He always had a smile on his face and I think people liked that about him. I hope that Jason will have a successful life ahead for him and I wish him only the best.

I see your point, but I honestly feel really sorry for Jason. It's been pretty obvious for a while that the producers wanted him gone, and I can't say I really blame him for kind of becoming kind of disenchanted with the whole thing because of it. I probably wouldn't want to be there either if it was being made abundantly clear that I wasn't wanted there.
That's just the way I see it, though. I could be reading it completely wrong, but he just seems like a nice guy to me and I seriously doubt he'd want to hurt his fans' feelings that way, especially since they're the ones who will be buying his music if he has a post-Idol career. It'd be stupid to intentionally piss them off.

Be we Texans, Oklahoman's, or from Missouri ( couldn't speel that part LOL) we know who needs to win this thing.

I like Utah but I'll be damned if he's gonna beat another guy from North Texas. LOL.

Those are great pictures! You can tell those two get along well. I'll miss Jason's sense of humor. I'm happy if he is happy, though, and he certainly seemed relieved at the results last night. I hope he has a blast on the tour and a very bright future ahead.

Welcome Dreadheads! I loved Jason throughout the whole competition. He was an early favorite for me when he sang Daydream in 60's week with his guitar. He is also the only other person of whom I bought iTunes stuff. Over the Rainbow and Hallelujah were both brilliant shining moments. He is also the funniest guy to watch. I'm glad he got to leave if that's what he really wanted, and it seemed like he did. That spotlight can be really hard on the contestants.

I believe Jason and Cookie were really close, maybe that's just me. But I believe Jason would be okay with me supporting Cook now.

I've been on and off with Jason all season. I loved him at the very beginning, a lot. What he did with "Hallelujah" was beautiful and I never forget his rendition of that. He's had his on and off weeks, but I think he deserves to be hated on as much as people do to him. Jason always made me laugh, and he always had a big smile on his face, which I appreciated. I also appreciated his voice and style of music. To me, his style was very, very acoustic, which is something I've always loved, so when I saw him play guitar on Idol for the first time, I was immediately drawn to him. Alot of people always said things about him, like he's dumb, he's a stoner, he doesn't know what he's talking about, etc. To me, he's just a mellow, laid-back guy. Sure, I like to tease about him, but I never mean it in a serious way, it was always in fun.

Now on Tuesday night, I WAS a little bit aggravated with him because it just seemed like he went out there and didn't care about his performances, when the others were so into theirs. But then last night on the results show, when Ryan told him he was leaving, he just looked SO relieved, and I don't blame him. I think like he said, his inexperience was getting to him, and he probably WOULD have had a hard time next week. I just think that maybe he was burnt out from all of it and needed to go home.

I think he's going to be fine. He has a great acoustic voice, which is a big genre right now. I think I'd buy his album if he put one out. I have several of his studio recordings already and I love them.

So yeah, I think I'll miss him next week.
