Hiya Upstate NY-ers! I'm mainly a lurker here but a regular on the AI boards. I got tix this morning to the Rochester show, Section 126 right next to the stage in row Q!!!! I am so excited!!! I got 6 tickets, 2 for me and the rest for a couple of the other wordnerds on the boards. I've had 2 that are already going to be available since one gals found 2 better and purchsed them. So between us, we have at least 2 extras if there are some of you who get stuck without tickets or don't have anyone else to go with and want to go and want to sit with a group of DC fans! If you'd like to, please post here and I can give you my email addy!!

I think I'll make a night out of it (I wish it wasn't on a Sunday!) and need a local to help me out with the closest hotels. I'm not driving home back to Buffalo.

Last time I went (Season 5), we were so exhausted after chasing the tour bus around after the show, we were way to tired on the drive back home. This time I'm staying. If anyone can help me out, pm me or post a link to area hotels. Thanks!

OMFG...that would be awesome (provided that the offer still stands)...although i live in Mexico NY, and am slightly apprehensive about driving to Rochester, perhaps i could bring a friend who'd drive there...

Yes, you can bring cameras. And as for a t-shirt, the group on the AI boards voted his tour color RED. So we are just discussing wearing red of some sort (red with black letters, or black with red letters). On cafepress.com, there is an awesome selection of t-shirts available!

For those that are going, what tiome are you planning to arrive in hopes of meeting David??

I'm going to the Rochester show as well. I would love to meet up with some people since none of my friends are crazy enough to get there early and meet the tour buses. I've heard you need to get there around noon to be safe.

Is anyone planning on "Stalking" lol.. the arena, because this show is on a sun, and it looks like the last show before this is a thurs ( I think).. I might "hang out" around there on Sat to see if i can get a glimpse! Of course I am in syracuse, but it would be totally worth it if i got to meet them! Even to just see where buses pull in ( I have only been to blue cross arena once when Chris daughtry was on idol, and didn't get to see where the buses were or anything) Anyone else going to this show thinking about doing this? Who knows, Lindz story inspired me, so i might be willing to give it a shot!

soo does anyone know like where the buses park at the arena?? i've never been to rochester.. i'm pretty upset they didn't come to syracuse this year that was sooo easy for me and i knew right where to go lol

I live in Webster (Rochester Suburb) and me and my girlfriend are planning on going to stalk the buses at Blue Cross Sunday afternoon... anyone know where they will be located? Also, I think that the Idols will be staying overnight in Rochester since their next show isn't until Tuesday night in PA... which is only a 2 hour drive.

Any idea where the heck they would be staying in Rochester? I can't think of a ritzy hotel worthy of having David Cook laying on it's sheets lol

My friend isn't into DC but I convinced her to come with me because she just wants to get drunk and chase him around like a groupie lol So far we have a whole day of partying planned. Hopefully we won't be drunk at the concert... that would be bad probably. I might make a fool of myself. Hey, that's why I'm 21.

If they're staying in a hotel, I would probably think it would by the Hyatt Regency which is right downtown or the DelMonte Lodge in Pittsford (suburb of Rochester). I believe that a lot of celebrities stay at the DelMonte when in town.

i'm just posting again...I'm gonna be in Row 224, Section H, seats 4,5 and 6 ( i think...i don't have my tix in front of me XD)...i hope i'll get good pix...does anyone know if we can bring cameras?

I am not sure if we are "allowed" to bring cameras, but i am bringing one anyways I am going to call them and ask, and i'll post on here what they say.. I am getting SO excited for this show, it seems like everyone is having good luck meeting them, I hope all of us going to this show have the same good luck!! I am in section 43 on the floor, row E, and I am pretty tall (5'10") So i should be able to get fairly good pics! I'll keep my fingers crossed though! I am not sure where the buses will be , which is why i am thinking of checking out the arena on Sat

We got great seats from the Pop Tart site. We got Section 43 Row B seats 1-4. Waiting to see if any local radio stations will be giving away tickets with Meet and Greet Passes.


We are planning on arriveing around 12noon to see if we can see them arrive. Previous arrival on the tour have them arriving between noon and 1pm and they actually talk to the fans. We are very optomistic that we will get to see them. Can't wait.

I agree - I would arrive around noon. I heard the buses park on the street at Blue Cross so that may make it tough to meet them but I guess there is a parking lot nearby. I'm thinking about going to the arena soon to check it out.

Hey everyone! Myself and a couple close friends will be at the Rochester show as well. I was reading through the post and I cannot seem to find anything definitive about meet and greets/meeting the idols.

Is anyone meeting up (or did I miss that too?)

Does this mean I won't be the only older fan there?!? My husband will most likely be coming with me and he thinks we'll be the oldest people present--and we're only in our early 40s. I told him he's wrong, but he won't believe me! Our seats are way in the back, but I couldn't get them until today (something about being unemployed and scrounging the money together . . .) It looks like it will be a great show from all of the youtube videos. I can't wait!!!

Now, if I can only keep my OCDCD to a minimum that night so as not to annoy my husband . . .
