Hey Everyone!

Sara here, hometown fan of David Cook. After seeing the mixture of craziness/madness/happiness/joyfulyness plastered on every fan of David's who came out to his homecoming and the genuine support everyone really does have for him, i've been inspired.

Thus, i have come up with a project i am going to work on all summer long.

David's Scrapbook will be a huge scrapbook compilation of fan pics, stories, and shoutouts to YOUR favorite idol.

Here's where YOU all come in. I, MYSELF, ME... am ONLY going to put together everything YOU all send me into the actual scrapbook... it is up to you, the fans all over the states, and internationally, to send in what YOU want to be included in this project!

You can send in YOUR experiences with David, whether it had been meeting him at the idol studios, Growing up with him, Meeting/seeing him at his homecoming, Meeting/seeing him at this summer's Idol tour. (this scrapbook will be open to everyone to contribute until david's return to KC, where i will 100% get it in his hands)

ALSO, you do NOT need to have met him/seen him in person to contribute... I, unfortunately, was NOT able to meet him this past Friday due to school issues, and am regretting it very much, but that does NOT mean i have nothing to contribute to the actual content of the scrapbook... David has inspired me to deal with things in so many different ways, i cant even begin. His strength, humbleness, and genuity is that of which everyone strives for in life and i believe its time we all come together and give him something for him to hold onto for the rest of his life...


Again, here's where YOU come in...

This project CAN NOT and WILL NOT workout with out the support of YOU guys!

- YOUR story ( how he's inspired you, any stories you'd like to share with him )
- YOUR thoughts of his Idol journey

- Anything else YOU'D like to say/add!!


I think you've caught on to this being all about YOU. YOU send it in, I will MAKE SURE it gets put in there!


Here's what i need you to MAKE SURE you include in your emails to me:

- Age
- Location
- Content (what YOU want to contribute to the project)


I will be posting this up on different american idol forums as well as contacting some of David's fansites to help get the message of this project out there, but YOU all have to help me get this project out there too! Post it anywhere you possibly think would help get the word out! (and list where you posted it in here please, =) )

I have already recieved some stories from you fans, thank you sooo much! Some, if not all of them, have made me cry! Just imagine how much its going to mean to David himself!

Sara, what a great idea! Thanks for taking this on. I'll send you a few things, but one of the funniest threads here was the 'Are there any older David Cook fans?' thread--hilarious, and I would just put the whole series of replies together and put them! Strange, all the things they described are also happening to me (and it shocked the hell outta me, too!). Yes 'the laundry' is getting done more often...

i wanted to send him a mail but am not sure how long it will take to get to him or even it will ever get to him since i'm from Asia
though, i have a question, is there any limit to the letter i want to contribute?

I am confused. Are we talking about two different scrapbooks compared to the other one that is being made by starsandshines?

Um--there's already at least 2 scrapbooks for him from this site, but I guess there can always be another one...

i have not heard of another scrapbook project but if there are... hey! more love for david! we started this one a long while back though....

You must not come on here very often, because I inundated this site (right guys?! LOL) with info about the one I am working on...mine just really covers the finale week, though, and it will be getting to him in the next couple weeks, before he goes out on tour.
