In regards to his not looking elated at making the final...I think that for one, come on, Cookie freaking knew he was in. Not much surprise. I think he was just being the sweetie he is and trying to soften the blow for Syesha, who also knew basically for a fact that she was going home and was really classy about it, kudos to her.

Omg, this is hilarious I loved this line from her: "Btw, if Sexy loses, this will most definitely be the Year Without A Santa Claus... not gonna happen)"...that's so true LOL

LOL...that whole thing was just hilarious, everything about it I don't like what she said about David not wanting it though. Like others have said, that's just the way he is. He wasn't going to just let Syesha go and be REALLY excited and smiley when he knows one of his friends are going home, that's just not how he is.

Come to think of it, it isn't wrong for Cookie to hold back his elation on making it to the final 2, knowing how bad he felt for Syesha, who's doomed to be going home. And the way he hugged her - it's so sweet!

If I were Cookie, I too would reserve my celebrations for later. It does appear to look taboo, celebrating in front of someone who had just lost out to you - penny for my thoughts.

i think he actually thought that he and syesha were the bottom two... even though we know he was number 1. he's never been in that situation where he was standing there and had to hear that it was either him or someone else going home. he's always been sent right to the couch. i think because he truly thought he could go home, he reacted the same way most have when they have been in the bottom two and the other has gone.
