What was the bracelet for? I remember reading something about it but i cant remember. I think he did an amazing job tonight I loved the little voice changer thing! I can't get over how awesome that performance was and he is!! Haven't seen any more of this week's show other than DC's performance (couldn't wait till Thursday for that one!) but I'm gonna be a good girl and wait to be suprised by the rest, but WOW, that was surely one of the performances of the night?!?!

Hope Michael Johns had a good performance this week? And I hear Chikezie mixed it up again like last week?? (Ok I peeked a few spoilers... ) Good for him, he was amazing last week!

I, too, think David TOTALLY kicked a$$ tonight! It was all I could do not to squeal through the whole thing! Sexy as hell, that one is! He's got a habit, I've noticed, of making every song he sings, no matter what it's really about, just ooze with sex appeal. And I appreciate that. I think Simon had a
semivalid point in that if David continues to put the rocker's edge (which, obviously, suits him and we all love) on every single song, it WILL get predictable, a la Amanda Overmeyer. I hope, since Simon said it out loud to David this week, he considers that for next week and maybe goes for an acoustic arrangement to show his versatility?? And I, for one, know there's nothing sexier than a good-looking man with an acoustic guitar. So really, he can't go wrong. David, are you lstening? lol. I thought Brooke did better than they gave her credit for, and I thought Michael Johns' performance was much better than last week, but it's not the first time I've thought exactly the opposite of what the judges did. Oh well. As Mr. Cook himself pointed out, it's not Simon's opinion that gets them through at this point, and I've done my voting for my favorite. (guess who). Guess we'll see who ends up on the butcher's block tomorrow. My feeling is Kristy Lee's run out of second chances.

What's wrong with the audio on the Day Tripper file?

Once again, David Cook blew me away with a great rock concert performance. I disagree with Simon Cowell this week because that was my favorite version of Day Trippin by David Cook. I felt like I was attending a David Cook rock concert that totally blew me away. Well Done David Cook! David will get all of my votes this week. Rock On David Cook! David Cook is the next American Idol. Yes! David Cook will be around longer on American Idol. I voted for David 25 times this week because I want to see more David Cook on AI. David looked amazing and very cool with the electric guitar this week. Not to mention that David Cook looked totally cute too. Oh my! David Cook is getting cutier by moment! David Cook is my Idol!

David sounded AMAZING tonight!! I loved this version of the song.

The orange wristband was for the little girl, Lindsey, who has cancer. He wore it last week too, but wore it around his KNUCKLES this time so that everyone could see it! I bet that made her day!

And the performance was amazing, as usual!

I've just cheated and watched the performance on You Tube - what is wrong with Simon (I'm embarrassed to be British sometimes as he's representing our country - we're not all like him promise).

Saying David was Smug - I've never noticed that, he's a confident performer. And predictable - DC is a rocker, - he takes risks but always stays true to who he is - and he's far too talented to give a bad performance.

Talking of bad performances how was KLC?!!!!!!

Good God, David, you have such a distinct voice. Sting has one. Celine Dion has one. Stevie Nicks has one. It speaks to the heart. Way to go! Regardless of whether you win idol or not, you have one great music career ahead of you.....and I'll be listening.

I didn't have that *feeling* that I had for the past two songs. As he was playing it I was just thinking..."David..what are you doing?"

It was the same energy as last week so I wasn't as surprised by it (kinda like what Simon said.)

But, when Simon bashes David, David always comes back with something better (like when Simon bashed him during his first audition with the guitar).

I hope the itunes version is amazing. That vox box can work really well when used properly. Bon Jovi did it and David can do it too. It could have been omitted for the show and just used on the itunes track.

I liked it. I just wasn't crazy about it like I am with his other performances. Simon is there for a reason, to tell it like it is. He's entitled to his opinion, just as Paula is entitled to her parroted speeches, but in her case it's utterly pointless when you're supposed to offer constructive criticism. She's like Randy #2 in Pig Latin on drugs.

The orange bracelet he wears is for Lindsey Rose.. one of his fans who has cancer.. her dad is a TV reporter and he interviewed David when they were like in the top 24- I think - and when he told David her story and that he had these bracelets made, David said he wanted one and he would wear it on the air for her and I guess that he has been wearing it ever since.. HE IS SO SWEET.. ONE MORE REASON TO LOVE HIM!!!!

There was something wrong during the broadcast...for lack of a better way to describe it it was kind of like the tv "skipped" for a few seconds kinda like cd skips if it has a scratch on it. So the mp3 will be like the broadcast.


My mom says that too, all the time. I think she says that because I don't like her favorite and so she is trying to pull bad things out of thin air to say about David. But I don't know what Simon was thinking David was awesome as usual tonight.

I went back and watched my tape of last night's performance because I <3 David, but I didn't notice the audio skip in the tape when I watched it. If I can figure out a way to do it, I will rip an MP3 of it so we can have one that doesn't have that little audio blip in it. Anyone help?

^That's weird, are you on the west coast? Because if you are maybe they had a chance to fix it by the time it aired for you. Even on rickey.org he mentions the problem with the broadcast. But if you could get an mp3 that didn't have problems that would be amazing!

Nope I'm on the east coast. I was wondering if maybe it was because I taped it? lol I don't know. My mom mentioned it with the digital cable in the living room, but I don't have digital cable in my room... maybe it was something with the digital?

hey guys i just wanted to say i disagree with simon's ruling i think our david did a soild performs. i loved his performs of day tripper i think it was one of his best performs. i think he looked hot too. i love how it was his first time using the voice box. he did a good job with it. it was amazing. i can't wait til he on next week. voted for him like crazy. i want him to go all the way. he is the next american idol. loved it david. keep rockin. see u next week honey.

I caught up and watched all of David's prior performance, cuz I only saw last night! He was AWESOME in every single one of them. I am truly impressed - he may be the best AI contestant I've seen since Season 2 - my first real true love Clay Aiken .
