Ok, heads up for those of you who don't know.
Rickey has been a David Archuleta supporter from Day 1. He's pretty dedicated to giving all DA fans up to date info on him.
Rickey may have a biased opinion, but at least it's a fair one. He calls out his bloggers when they are being negative and he even goes as far as to support the other contestants.
I have never read that he has posted anything negative regarding the other contestants. He, like us, has a clear favourite. Please don't take it to heart. It's just one person's opinion.
As long as you know who you're voting for, there's no need to be upset with anyone else.
I like rickey's blog and I will continue going to it, even though I

DC the most

In the past, rickey was a little more less obvious. He was an Idol lover in general. He never put banners at the top of his site to promote one contestant and he gave threads to everyone to discuss the goings on week by week. He also provided free mp3s of all the performances. This year, he started off being fair but quickly became totally biased and frankly driving people away from his site because anything a blogger put on there within their own threads of their favorite contestant was invaded by rabid archie fans. Many people have deserted his site simply because they spent all their time defending their favorite. Rickey is of course laughing all the way to the bank because the site is very active with Archie fans and he gets paid by the number of hits he gets.
If I wanted a more neutral site I would prefer MJ Blog because they pretty much critique everyone fairly and when the contestant stinks--they'll say so. In addition, there are no personal attacks on the site and if there is, it's removed. On rickey's site it's actually scary to go there now and I for one would prefer a more less biased site. I find it disturbing that a mature man like rickey would favor a 17-year old boy and I don't mean that he clearly likes him - it's other things I've seen which turns my stomach. He keeps tabs on iTunes sales and when David Cook was way ahead but David Archuleta seemed to be tied with two other contestants he encouraged his bloggers to gift and/or buy Archuleta's song for that week to put him on 2nd place. That wouldn't take much simply because Jason was slightly ahead (and he was eliminated) and Syesha was close to Archie's. This was he can go back on the site and say Archuleta is #2 in iTunes. However, David Cook was so far ahead even Archie's #2 was pathetic. I really think that was over the top. I've never seen anyone else do that.
No, I've had it with rickey site and frankly he should rename it to archuletalover.org or something. This is just a show. Win or lose, they got what they all needed - exposure. Sure I want David Cook to win because I really think he's better and more marketable. Archie's type of music is just not my kind of music and certainly isn't because I don't care to listen or buy songs sung by a 17 year old. His album will all sound the same to me. As a viewer, I quickly became bored with Archie--enough of the ballads already but he can't seem to to anything else. I was also annoyed that he forgot words or messed up words for 4 songs now--and for the most part it was overlooked. He would have been eliminated for that during Hollywood Week.
