"Danny Noriega is on a short list of people who won't be at next week's "A.I." finale. Also on that list, this guy.

According to a YouTube post (listen to our audio - the video is kinda wonky) put up by the pissy singer, not only was Danny not invited but he was told in an email that he could not attend because, "they were full!" Danny claims he had to call four different people before he was finally given the definitive kick to the curb.

FOX had no comment on the issue.

Yes, I think he should have gotten tickets. However, after his little fit on the internet, I have no sympathy for him whatsoever. What a rude, selfish, whiny little person!

Personally, Danny always kind of got on my nerves. But I do feel like the Top 24 should've gotten tickets, because like he said they were a part of the show this season. But after his little immature, diva-esque rant he shouldn't get to go. The best part of the whole thing was when he said hold on because his phone was ringing and then yelled at his mom that he was making an important announcement. Oh, Danny!

Hey, at least he had the guts to stand up & say these things, just pointing out what a shit-hole AI can be apparently.
If you have 24 contestants that were on your show, getting votes & what-not, THEY SHOULD BE INVITED. It doesn't matter if they were the first to go, or the last to go, they SHOULD be invited, because I do think he brought in a good fanbase as well. He kept people laughing, & he's just silly.

I actually watched the video, & I can understand why he's upset, but yes, maybe a little eccentric & over the top there.
But hey, to each their own, & at least he's not a person that's afraid to speak his mind.
Love him or hate him, he's his own person, & I respect him for it, 'cause I'm the same way honestly.

Danny is a tool. He is so immature and needs to get over himself. Why should he be invited? It's not about HIM, it's about the Davids now... I'm glad he's not going to be there... I don't even know why the Top 12 were invited... should have been the Top 10 only (the ones on the tour).

One thing about Danny is that he can either make people like him or hate him, especially with that attitude of his, which can also be dubbed as speaking his mind.

All the more he should be given tickets to watch the finale. After all, he was in the top 24 before, peaking at the top 16. I liked him as a person, but talent-wise, I can't say the same.

I await Danny's haters running after me, including a good ol' friend of mine who's also in the MB - he hates Danny to the core.

I don't personally see why ANY of the others need to be invited at all, the purpose of the last show is to pick the winner, the show should be about the winner, not all the losers. If they want to have a show later to commemorate all the contestants, so be it - a reunion show. But not the finale. I'm not watching the finale to see all the people who got voted off - sorry guys. And the tickets should be given to the Davids family and friends since it's their night.

Speaking of Danny, did you hear him on Idol Tonight yesterday? He said DC was his fave from the beginning, especially after he did Hello. Ha! But he also saw how good DA was and made his remark about how they'd be battling it out.

If I was on the show and didn't get invited I don't know how I would've react...But it wouldn't have been positive..

He's a very outspoken individual and I admire that of him but I wasn't a big fan of him. He has an amazing voice but not for a recording artist. More for stage and theatre.
I do hope he goes far with his talent though.

I'm not really a fan, but he can be really funny or really rude. But my friend is overly-obsessed with Danny! She sent him a fan mail with a comic in it and her phone number and she called her and it was 2am here so she didn't answer her phone but he left this long voicemail, which is pretty sweet. He called her while doing a live chat on Stickam, and she was his first fan "victim" he's ever called! She came to me in school freaking out when it happened, haha.

I absolutely LOVE Danny Noriega. In the beginning of Idol, I was voting for him and Cook. I love his attitude, and I think he's hilarious. There's actually a guy in my school that's just as flamboyant and amusing as he is...right down to the head movements. They even kind of look alike.

I go to cosmetology school so I see a LOT of guys like that there, and believe me, they are the greatest people to be around. Never a dull moment...and they make totally AWESOME friends.

By the way, you all need to type in "Danny Noriega - Chain of Fools" in YouTube and watch the full version of that video. I swear it's the funniest thing.

And I agree...he should have been invited to the finale along with the rest of the top 24...just reminds me as to why I never bothered watching this show before this season. I blame Cook for me watching it this season

I am kind of surprised that the "Best Of The Rest," as Idol likes to call them, were not invited to the show. I mean, they got at least two shows' worth of airtime; that's got to count for something, yes?

Oh, and Sanjaya was probably invited because he made it into the Top 10. Lots of past winners/runners-up/Top 10'ers are invited to the finales. It's why we've seen Bo, Blake, and Constantine, among others, at the finale (in past years at least, if not this year).

That said, I was never a fan of Danny's, because his sassy attitude just didn't sit right with me. I think he would have been this year's Sanjaya had he made it into the Top 12, because VFTW was pimping him hard. Glad that didn't happen!
