Hey guys, I am going to the show at Cincinnati, Ohio. I want to try to go early so I can maybe meet David. But I don't know what time I should go or where I should go!?!? Anyone else going?
angelsdust
If I go I am going to get tickets at the last minute, I still have yet to find someone to go with...but if I do go I will be there early as well!

I am going to Cinci. Get there early and look for the buses
DavidCookiemonster
I can tell you this much.......You won't be able to go anywhere near the buses and I mean nowhere near them. US Bank is very, very strict on getting anywhere or even close to the buses. They will and I am serious here.... Threaten to call the police ( because it's private property) and they do have the right to arrest you.I was almost thrown in jail ( not kidding) Your only chance of meeting them is possibly after the concert and even then again you aren't allowed near the buses. Basically you have to wait across the street and since it's super jammed afterwards they probably won't come out. Your best bet is to win passes.I am sorry to break the news.I've been meeting bands for years now and I never go to US Bank to meet them. It's really not worth it ( getting arrested)

Looking for someone to go to this concert with me...anyone interested? Send me a PM!

I'm going to the concert BY MYSELF.

To those who say they don't have someone with which to go:

Don't let friends that don't want to go hold you back. GO FOR IT! I used to not go to things because my friends didn't want to go or couldn't find the money. I soooo regret those days. One time in high school I just wanted to go to something so badly, I got my courage and just went alone.
Now I just go by myself to stuff with no hestitation. I have met so many interesting people I never would have that have like-interests and experienced many fun times.

Try to screw up your courage and go. You'll meet some other word nerds, like me there.
DavidCookiemonster
Rock on! Maybe we all could meet up.

I have been to this arena many times for different concerts and including some idol shows. You have to stand across the street from the buses but they have never made me leave standing there and the idols have come across the street to meet people so it can happen. They don't like really fanatic over the top, pushy crowds though I will tell you that...I personally think you have a better chance before then after.
DavidCook07
well, it's definitely not worth getting arrested at the age of 12, but what happens, happens. I live like 15 mins. from US Bank so maybe I will go early and stand across the street. idk. What are you guys gonna do?
DavidCookiemonster
I mean they do not mind you standing across the street yes.But like I said Don't get all fanatical and scream. That really doesn't help.It kinda ticks off the security. You have a 50/50 chance.

Yep, where US bank sits, it's a shitty position, you can stare at the buses from across the street all you want, but that doesn't mean magically the people on them will decide to cross the road to meet you.

And after the concert, with all the traffic it's pretty much impossible.

I'm going to AI concert in Cincy. Will be my first AI tour experience. I talked one of my friends into going who didn't even watch AI this season, but once I showed her the tuesday/wednesday night finale shows I had saved on my DVR, she has fell in love with DC too. lol Now she can't wait to go.
DavidCookiemonster
I was talking to my friend who gets practically everyone's autograph and he said like me US Bank is the worst. He has waited on the other side many, many times and in the 10 years he's been doing this he has never ever gotten an autograph there. He said it's pretty much a lost cause.

I highly considered this and you do have a great point...only thing is...I'll be driving from Columbus and my friends and family would kill me because I always get the "What if something happens to you and nobody will know...." so I'm still thinking about this, but will let you girls know either way...
angelsdust
I took kentuckywildcat's advice and decided to go by myself, I have good seats and I'm sure I will have a great time either way!
