-a second show date was added to Kansas City...those tix must have sold fast for this.
-thousands of seats for the May 9th KC Royals game sold after it was announced he'd be there.
-have you noticed that there are OVER 2 MILLION views of Billie Jean on youtube!
-iTunes sales of his studio versions are hot...even when downloads are available on this site.
-AH amazon sales increased by 300% over a single week--by word-of-mouth alone --after people learned his name
-notice that the original versions of the songs he covers also see an increase in sales.

YES! As of just a few moments ago, Billie Jean has 2,010,387 views! Just for fun (not to actually view), I looked up Archie's Imagine. It has a mere 1,245,641 hits. I cannot wait to see DC's reaction when he is announced the winner!!! WOW!

yeah he's not so much mainstream as he is marketable. i really think someone like him with his versatility and charm and just his overall persona is NEEDED by the industry. it needs someone who is already polished and established in terms of his sound, his genre of music and his ability to sell... well anything. the music industry is somewhat flighty nowadays, what with youtube and the internet making anyone a star but i really believe DC can hold his own. i think he can be an enduring artist and he is what the industry, not to mention Idol, desperately needs.

To be honest with you, I was a DA fan from the beginning. The producers were pimping him alot. They did not show Cookie very much. BUT when he sang HELLO, I completely changed my mind. It was amazing.
He blew me away with Billie Jean also and I havent looked back since.

That is hilarious the comment about David A's dad if Cookie wins !!!!!! LOL!!! I really am sick of the judges favoring David A. when he is not all they think he is..yeah he has a good voice and he sings great for his age but that is all boring when being compared to a TRUE rockstar like David Cook and this show sucks if he does not win as he is clearly soooooooooooo much more talented then his contender.
