3 DAYS!!!!!!!!

I'm going! My friend and I are going to try to get there by 11am, which is crazy, but it should be worth it. Luckily, I only live about 25-30 minutes away from Rupp. Nobody good ever comes to Kentucky, let alone Lexington, so I'm pretty darn excited about Saturday.

Has anyone heard anything about wearing a designated color to show which idol you were rooting for? Nobody can seem to figure out which color is for Cook.

Cook is red. My shirt is black with Mavid on it. We did black for when the Mavid died. Now Mavid LIVES!!
I should be there around 11 as well, but I have a 4 hr drive lol.

We are going to try for 11 also. And we also have a 4 hour drive. May see you along the way.

Noooo... I would never leave my sweetheart in the car in this heat. I think I am just going to put out the extra $$$ and pay for a hotel room for Friday. This is getting to be an expensive outing.


On another board, a fan reported David saying that he will be in the studio on Friday... so what does that mean for meeting the buses in Lexington on Saturday? Will he even be on the buses?

Hey guys................2 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont know how I am suppose to get anything done these next couple of days!

Im curious about if he will be with the buses or what since i also heard he will be off and in the studio on Friday? What does that mean for meeting him before the show? Im glad he has a day off before our concert cause i figured he may be a little more rested even though he will still be working.

Anyone familiar with Rupp care to let me know where they will probably come out? I am a huge ball fan but only for Tennessee so I have never been to Rupp! Plus I hate to travel 3-4 hrs and him not even be there to sign or come out. HELP

I have heard that on his off days he does record in LA, although some have said he did it in New York when they were there. What that means for meeting him early, I don't know. It could be good or bad. Depending on when his flight gets in, he may arrive before the other idols. It seems like 1 o'clock is the time they usually get to the venues if nothing holds them up (I heard about traffic in NYC - go figure). I have never read anyone say they were there any earlier than 1. I met him in Cincy, we got there at noon to be safe and secure a spot, but didn't see any of them until around 2. Day meetings are nothing like the ones at night, not near as many people or craziness. I'm planning on getting there at noon again. In Cincy, security told those of us waiting outside the buses were to go for the meeting. They had a gate set up especially for this. Hopefully Rupp security will be just as nice. Hopefully David will be there, but I have learned from others not so fortunate that sometimes he can't come out before the show but he absolutely does whenever he can.

I'm not planning on meeting them, but for those that are trying, good luck. Rupp is set up so weird, that I have never been able to figure out where the buses park. I've seen busses parked on the street by the building before and other times I have not seen them at all. I been back stage and everything and I just don't get that place. Lol. I figure it will be easier on Saturday because it is expected that fans try to meet them.

Thanks for that insite, every little bit helps. I plan on circling to see where crowds have congregated.

1 DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O my gosh i cant believe that tommorrow night i will be in the same building as David Cook! My husband has put up with me since DC auditioned and has handled it all pretty well but I think it is safe to say that he thinks I have completely lost my mind. I cant sleep or eat or get any work done anywhere!!!!!! My familyl is hoping that after i see him everything will get back to normal around he but who are they joking, life will never be normal again. The world has discovered what is quiet possibly one of the greatest musicians. We will never be normal, atleast i hope not!!!!!

Everyone have a great weekend I know I will!! Cant waite to see all of my fellow word nerds and the main man himself!!!!! Gosh I cant believe its here!!!!!

Woo Hoo! I'm meeting some of you guys tonight and tomorrow! We are gonna have so much fun. I just hope we get to actually meet our lovely David in person.

Unfortunately I probably won't be coming early tomorrow as sad as I hate to say. I was really wanting to go to the buses early so I'd have a chance to meet David and the rest of the idols. My cousin wants to go shopping for a wedding dress all day, yet she told me she'd wait with me at the buses. I can't believe she lied to me. I asked my Mom if I could go to Rupp early and she said no I have to go try on bridesmaid dresses. Ugh. If anyone sees me I will have some red glow sticks if I cannot find smalltowngal and the others I was supposed to give them to. If any one could try to give me an autograph from David let me know. I have no idea when I'll be there. But I'm still excited about the concert, even though my seats are kind of far away (:
