So I get home from college and was looking for something that would keep me busy. My sister (who reads everything) recommened this book that a few girls in her high school were crazy about....Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.

I'm on page 335 right now, so if you've read it don't tell me what happens But I also found out there's are three or four other books in the series...around 500-600 pages each. I usually don't read, but I'm growing fond of this book...but four more of the same size might drive me over the edge. I'd like to know if they're good enough to keep reading.

I also saw that a movie is coming out based on the book in December...with a LOT of very nice looking actors in it (you can look it up on imdb.com).

So has anyone read this book? I may have a small crush on Edward Cullen.

Well, I've read it, I liked Twilight but in the other books. Meh, I just don't like it just as much.

I am excited about the movie though.

Physically speaking, I don't think Kristen Stewart looks good for Bella, but I am pretty sure she could act like Bella. Which is, really, the important thing, right? =D

Haha, that series is a good read. I manage to finish all the books in like a month. (Lol, persistent whining to take me to the book store is always good! XD)

in my opinion better than Twilight!

One of my friends reccomended it because I love vampires. I loved Twilight, in fact I got 2 other friends and my sister addicted to them and now my mom wants to read it!
There is Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and the fourth hasn't come out yet, it's Breaking Dawn.
I've yet to finish Eclipse, but yeah they are great.

Well, my mom is a fan of Anne Rice, and instead of wanting to read it for herself (I'm doubtful whether she actually did finish it, or just skimmed it) she kept asking me whether it's better than Anne Rice's novels.

I was like, well d'uh mom. x_x
Of course, Anne Rice would be better. She's almost legendary.

But then again, we're from different generations. So meh. XD

I haven't read The Host yet. I did see it on the book store though. (Lol! I was shocked by how gorgeous Stephenie Myer looked in the pic! XD I was like, I knew she looked young and funky and all that, but whoah! XD Haha! A little girl-crush there! LOL!)

Tall and... err, fat? O_o; Made me scared to even think about reading it. x_x

Blah, is it really any good though?

The whole series is fantastic!! and the fourth (and I believe it is the final) book comes out in August and it's called Breaking Dawn and then the Twilight movie comes out in December. And I can tell you that all of the books are worth reading and once you really get into the storyline, you won't believe how fast you can get through the them.. I read all three books in about a week each.. and that was actually reading them slowly...

I can't wait for "Breaking Dawn".. but I am not too sure about the "Twilight" movie just yet, as I tend to like books more than the movie versions.. but that could just be me.. but either way, I am going to see it....

The Harry Potter series was awesome and the movies have all turned out great too, so hopefully this series will be similar as well..

P.S. I had (still have) a crush on Edward Cullen too.. I just love the way his character is written!

I lovee Twilight. I love Edward. Dude, you can't hate him! But I love Jacob too. Maybe even more. I do get a lot of bashing for that lol but I love him. All three books are AMAZING!! I wanna read The Host too. And Taylor.

I had to check the date that I started this post...I must have starting reading book 1 on the 17th...and as of this morning I'm done with the second one...and bought the 3rd one...starting that soon.

What is it about dark vampire love stories lol...

I keep thinking she's going to decide she doesn't want to get changed...like in Tuck Everlasting, she'll want to grow old...

And what would her special powers be? I think that if she's immune to vampire powers she'd be a very powerful vampire herself...

I'm a total Edward, Emmett and Rosalie fan though. Especially the whole Emmett/Rosalie pairing. I don't know if I'm alone on that one.

Yay for that! I don't get why some people hate on Rosalie because she's not as nice to Bella as the rest of them. I wouldn't be as nice either. That's just me though.
