So, we're studying epic poems in my English II class, and my teacher asks us to write a summary of an epic poem involving someone solving a problem in society. And I get this brilliant idea to write about DC and Castro solving world peace once and for all. I thought it was pretty hilarious, and atleast a page long...and what grade do I get? 12/20!
Not nice, Mrs. English II Teacher. My friend, who wrote about Archie, got the same grade. In fact, I think we were the only two who didn't get full credit. What an American Idol hater. So we asked why, and she said we weren't being serious. Woman, I was being perfectly serious mind you. DC and Castro could solve MY world peace with their renditions of Hallelujah and, of course, ABMB...or maybe even FTEISYF. Actually, any song from DC would be nice. It's a tradition since last year (I was a Blake Lewis fan), that me and my friend (the one who likes Archie) make shirts for the Wednesday finale and wear them to school. Last year, we both were lucky and we both liked Blake. This year, it's been a rivalry. But it's all good because our DC victory is closer than ever, and I know we can bring it home for him. I need some slogan ideas for shirts! Or just ideas in general. Pictures, quotes, anything would be helpful! :]
