I just read Kylie's message, thats so sad. Kinda going through the same sorta thing with my mum at the moment, she has a brain tumor but thank god its not cancer. They keep a close eye on her with scans and stuff, but she has started to get headache's and dizziness but the hospital has told her she has to wait 2 months for another scan, makes me so mad!

On a lighter note, Im loving the pic the albacookie posted, that cheered me up this morning!

Peachy, they wont give her one because of the radiation involved in a scan. They restrict the amount of X-Ray's they'll give me because I get sick so often. Plus, there's no hard and fast rules on how to treat me when I get sick; it's always "what do you think Mrs. Hollywood?". The doctors often just ask over the phone what we want and get it sorted. I hope you're Mum's okay... give her a big hug from me. My friend lost her mum 4 years ago to Cancer.

I'm going downtown (my city, not atlanta) where the shops will be opened late tonight, so I might go shopping.

And my siblings went shopping for me last night....so we'll see what they got me.

Love is a pretty strong word to use about someone you've never met - jeez sometimes I have trouble using it with people I know really well! Respect and admire probably sum it up better. And if I ever got the chance I reckon he'd be a cool guy to hang out and have a beer with, but the stalker stuff isn't me!

Love is a word I live on. Music's my entire life... apart from writing. Without music, my LOVE for music, I'm not too sure what state I'd be in today. Loving what someone DOES and loving a PERSON are different things in my book. Still, I definately would NOT confess love for DC at any stage. I think the worst I've been is a chatterbox with Harry Judd - I got on really well with him, we were laughing our heads off at the idea of my friend telling me to tell him to grow his hair back.

That sucks Kylie...My friend Jazzy (Jasmine) is paralysed from her neck down and we always take her to gigs...Our local club doesn't have a lift but the owner frazer will carry her up the stairs and back down...everyone in our town knows and love her! No one cares about the wheels... Maybe you'll find some people later on in life!

I read some........only three including Kylie's.
I mean they're good stories, but sometimes they go a little too far.
And sometimes when I'm reading it, I have to keep telling myself it ain't real and its not true.

But Kylie's is more laid back and that's how stories should be these days, but sometimes these authors go a little far and make our minds go where they're not suppose to.

And that's my opinion for today...........

Saying that DC was in my dream last night, it wasn't werd at all though.. We were both learning to salsa, and his partner had to leave, then mine fell over and hurt himself...
So we were paired up! Nothing dirty at all though, whenever he had to do moves that involved his arms and legs he'd end up stepping on my foot! Lol...
That was it pretty much, one big salsa lesson!

Polly, I seem to be dreaming a lot that I turn my wheelchair around, and it keeps spinning and spinning and spinning. I can feel the lurch in my stomach and everything. If it's not that, I'm on a plane, which resembles a boat, holding on to some guys hand and running away from something. If I dream; one of the above is always in there somewhere.

Polly is getting her hair done today, so when I get home from work at 10.30 tonight I expect to see photos of the fabulous new do.... capeesh!

I just read the most unbelievable thing. Natalie Goldberg, in her book Wild Mind, writes about her visit to Paris and how she went to see a Van Gogh exhibition. The chapter, seems innocent enough. Then I really think about it, and she describes some of the paintings, how all the paintings, even the ones by different artists, were all interconnected. Gogh had light in him, but he'd lost it all by the end - his eyes painted bright green in a self portrait. Then what does she do? She does what I long to, what I would do experiencing the emotions she was. She sat by two poet's graves, just sat there. It gives me a lot of comfort to think that one day I might be able to go visit Nathaniel and Sophia Hawthorne, to see the inscription on the side of the Old Manse... To tread along the streets of old Concorde, to hear the crunch of the stone beneath my wheels; that would be like walking in the footsteps of Emerson, the Alcotts, Hawthorne... like finally connecting to the writer that helped me bite the dust.
