I work mornings in my mothers papershop so i get to read all the papers... you can't beat a bit of death/racism/whatever else at 6am in the morning!!! But i think your right, it was in heat. what was up with that cos i didnt bother reading it.

Its alright. I enjoy chatting to people and our regulars are lovely. It saves me a lot of money but I should stop reading The Sun, cos I end up ranting to unsuspecting customers about the woes of the world!

I'd just be sat there reading all the magazines, it'd be great!

If newspapers were TV channels then I think The Sun would ITV, The Mirror would be BBC1 and The Star would be channel 4... and that's why I can only read the Sun because the other 2 annoy me more than anything.

I read the mags on the day they come but sadly thats only great for one day! and I won't read The Mirror or Star either. btw I love your analogy i'd say BBC2 would be one of the more upmarket papers like The Guardian or Independent.

The Guardian is definitely BBC2! I only really like ITV, it's more fun I think. I don't know why I think that, maybe it's just me? But BBC1 just seems so serious all the time.

Carly - The Guardian is definately BBC2 and i'm a LivingTV girl. I could watch it for hours!! Also! I met Peter Andre back in 96 outside of Metro FM in Newcastle. He's sweet, but short!!!

When is How I Met Your Mother on? I watched one episode three times when i was going to/coming back from China earlier this month. I really liked it.

I havn't been watching telly much since i got home.... think this may change!!!

The last time I watched it was last Sunday, I think it was on at about 5 or 6. I love How I Met Your Mother soooo much! I could watch the same episodes a million times and still love them!

I've been watching catch-up AI on Sundays... yay now i have something to ease the pain!

The episode I watched (A LOT!!!) was the one where Alison Hannigans fiance starts working at the law firm and changes his attitude to conform with the rest of the guys that work there. And the other girl nearly told her best friend she was in love with him. I'm dying to know what happened!!

So what do people think of the I'd Do Anything and Britain's Got Talent results?

The other girl is Robin. Her and Ted are actually dating but he stupidly told her that he loved her after their first date!!

I actually think I love Marshall (Alison's fiancee). He's amazing!



I really wanted Signature to win Britain's Got Talent but I like George as well so didn't mind! I agree with the I'd Do Anything results as well!

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night now!

letticea - Yep, the final was tonight.

Yeah, I loved Signature, but I liked George too, so like you, I didn't mind the result! My mum's favourite was Jodie, so she was happy she got the part! I liked both, but I think whilst Jessie had a couple of phenomenal performances, Jodie was more consistent, which is what you want in a theatre production!

I havn't been watching it. I work Saturday's till 8pm and by the time i get home it's nearly over. My Mum will be gutted though. she loved it. I think her favourite was George.

Seriously, I could go on forever about How I Met Your Mother. I'm obsessed with it! I love Barney as well, so much so that I actually repeat things he says in reality!

They've only shown the first 2 seasons over here, the third one is on in the US at the moment.

I'm glad that she's got the part. Overall she performed well every week so definitely deserved it, you have to be consistent like you said.

Yeah she's been on it twice now - both times in season 3 so I've not seen them yet but apparantly she's been really good in it. She plays someone who falls for Ted and ends up sleeping with Barney (I think).

Interesting... I know they were raving about her on E!

I just checked Amazon and season1 is only £15.

I got Season 1 from HMV for £20 about 4 months ago. It's definitely worth it. Season 2 isn't out over here as far as I know. I wish they would hurry up and release it tho!
