Edit: I have Windows Movie Maker and have just tried importing it but that same is happening. It will play the sound but not the image. I may cry!

Have you downloaded DivX codec? That might help: http://www.divx.com/ you can download it for free and it might sort out not seeing the image.

I do love music, and of course would love to do it professionally, but I don't have the start up capital, or the looks...

So I do the 9-5 job which is musically related and keep doing my own stuff small time.. Maybe in a few years I'll go back into more and spend some time on a new album..but for now it's just bits and bobs!

My kids are my niece and nephews! My neice had mengiciocal septecemia at birth, as did her younger brother. I lost one nephew to a diaphragmatic hernia, and his little brother has a heart murmer. PICTURES!

Ha, you have built up an insane amount of posts in a very short time! Oh, I know that feeling. I have nothing to do at the minute (finished exams, just waiting for degree results and term to end) so could be off having lots of fun, but I just can't afford it! I hate being a poor student!

I saw the Foo Fighters on monday and when I uploaded by pics and videos the videos have no sound but my computer automatically wipes the memory card so I can't try again. It was interesting, but also hard! (I'm much better at the Ecology-type stuff, the Biochemistry side of it baffled me!) Yep, secondary PGCE. Next year is going to be hard but I'm trying not to dwell on that too much just yet!

Yes, the PGCE is major hard, as obviously it's another step up, a level 6 (which means I would only have to do another year to get a masters!) But it is worth it... You can always ask me about it anyways! Now that I've done it and all...And my sisters just become a fully qualified primary school teacher, so between us we could help ya out I'm sure!

It is so worth it, we had ofsted in just before half term and we got an 'Outstanding' which just made all the hard work worth it!!

Yeah, I'm kind of working on a 'cross that bridge when I come to it' strategy with thinking about my PGCE! Thanks, I may take you up on that. My sister's just finishing her NQT year and if I only take her word for it then the PGCE will be horribly hard and stressful and the actual teaching is not much better! (She's starting to enjoy it a bit more now, but she really struggles with the behavioural side of it, which kind of gets her down a lot. I keep telling her it'll come in time!)

Are you doing it over 2 years or in one? I did mine in one, to be honest I worked until the day before I started it, so I kinda went in knowing little except that I had a loud enough voice to be a teacher! lol...
But it was good, the first few weeks I was just wondering what I was doing there to be honest..Looking a bit lost, but by Xmas I has settled nicely in and was known in my group as the weird one..Which I think is a compliment!

Well, that was definitely random. Half cat half man wouldn't really work, half man half lion or something would - a cat is too small! Unless it was a supersized cat. Or a tiny tiny person. Ha, I have an image in my head now of a normal sized human torso on a normal sized bottom half of a cat! I think it'd be a big cat, which would be the bottom half, so the top is human, like a centaur.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, but I've infected my computer downloading so many DC mp3s, oops, lol and my puter keeps crashing. Hopefully I've sorted it now though.
I did make a contribution to a cancer charity in David's name as they were free downloads (I did pay for Time of My Life). It's a cause close to my heart anyway, as my dad had brain cancer 20 years ago, he's still fine though. Hopefully the same will be true for Adam.

My mum had cancer for 7 years and made it through. And my Uncle had leukaemia but unfortunately it killed him three weeks later.

I think Cancer is such a big cause, I don't know anyone who hasn't been affected by it one way or another...

And so we have another Claire instead! This is confusing...Think we need to come up with nicknames!

Oh yeah, those nurse cats were kinda weird - too human-like!

OR, maybe we should have a bake sale! A UK Bake Sale...find DC fans all over the country and get them to have individual sales...then we could donate the whole lot to a specific charity (or few charities)
