Anyone else from the UK?

Me!!!! I'm from Yorkshire! I dont know if I should stay on the site over the next couple of days. I'm in a dilemma, wait for thursday or spoil it for myself lol

Me too - I am from the south and a huge fan. I had promised myself I'd wait till the show was aired Thursday and Friday - but I think it will be impossible. My nerves will be shot to pieces!

I think it's gonna be impossible for any of us to wait until Friday night. Whyyy do they have to show it 2 days later than the US?! It's horrible! Lol.

hi im from near london. Im def finding out the results here 1st, i hate watching results live at the best of times let alone when i care so much about it. I couldn't take the suspense. I'd rather just find out, and then be able to watch the show relatively calmly.

See I think I will watch the performances on Thurs and then mabe go on youtube and watch the result on there but then it's just going to say 'the moment when david.... won" so I guess you can't avoid knowing before you watch

I'm staying up late tonight to follow the final online on the forums as I have done every Tuesday for the past couple of months even though I have work in the morning

I'll be sad when AI ends but at least I'll be able to get a decent nights sleep on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

I've decided after tonight I'm not coming on the forum till Friday night. I was going to stay up tonight but I have to be up for work so early in the morning I'd only get about two hours and teaching kids on 2 hours sleep is so not a good idea lol. Weirdly my Mum who always tuts at me when she knows i've been up late actually went 'why cant you stay up? You're 23 not 83' haha, cheers Mum thanks.

I admire your restraint - there is no way I can stay away - I tried really hard last night and ended up in bed by 2am!! Am feeling it now, esp with 2 young kids, but he's worth it!

I'm really stuck at what to do now... I don't know whether to wait until Friday night for the results or come on the internet tomorrow morning to find out... I don't know what to do!

I know I won't be able to wait until Friday - I have no self control - and also need to be prepared for watching the actual final! My dilemma is whether to stay up, set my alarm for 3am UK time to check in or check first thing - knowing me will do the first and then be shattered all day tomorrow at work!

I really want to wait until Friday night because I think that's part of the excitement - not knowing what's happened until you've watched the show. Saying that I've looked on the internet for the past 3 weeks to see who has gone!

I'll probably just look in the morning knowing me, I wouldn't be able to actually drag myself outta bed to look at 3am! I could set my alarm but I'd probably just turn it back off and go to sleep!

I'm lucky really in a sense with work, I'll be tied up there all day and when I get home I think what I'll do is watch a DVD until Idol comes on, then Friday I'll shop I think.

If I do manage it, it will be the first time in AI history that I've been able to do it lol.

my method is going to be to download the results show onto a dvd, and then I can watch it thursday night, which is about the maximum of my patience, but I also get the suspense of waiting the whole two hour show. =D
so I'll be be staying off her until late tomorrow. ^^

I wish I could wait that long... I might try and see how long I can go without finding out.

Good idea - not sure I'm technical enough to do that. Wish I had more patience - if I can make it to tomorrow morning I will have done well - my friend waits until Saturdays to watch both shows and doesn't know the results in advance - I have no idea how she manages that!!!!

Ha Ha!! Not many of my friends have been watching AI, although they're switching on now as I don't stop going on about DC (they're a little slow around here!). Rather worryingly a friend watched it last week for the first time, and saw DA on the results show, remembered I went on about a David and thought that was who I was obsessing about - she breathed a sigh of relief when DC did come out, but did have to double check with me !!

Oh poo. I've just found a site with it going to be broadcast live. I have a horrible feeling I'm going to just get 3 hours sleep tonight. The show ends 3am our time right? I can do that lmao

Well - I lost my net access yesterday so had to wait till I got to work this morning to find the result - I had gone nearly mad with the waiting!!!

The first thing I did this morning was come on the internet! I needed to know! I think I woke up about 5 or 6 times during the night!

HEY- another UK fan here. I am actually Italian but live in London. The worst thing is not only not many friends care about idol here, but NO ONE knows about it in Italy since they do not air it there.... so most of my friends just think I have completely going crazy. But I have organized a crash course for my best friend this weekend so they know what I have been obsessing about!!!
