It's threads like this that make me happy and sad at the same time. I am glad people are getting a chance to hear Axium's amazing music. Yet I am saddened that more and more, Axium doesn't feel like this little area secret anymore. I have all the CDs, and am proud of that. I just wish others cpuld go out and get them legally, and don't feel liek starting a debate over all that. It's just how I feel.

Hopefully after Idol, we'll be able to purchase their music.

I also feel bad about downloading and not paying, but I think most of us would buy everything now if we could. I plan to buy everything when I can, and buy extras as gifts to turn people on to this music. If lots of other people do the same, it should translate into some decent money, hopefully.

I had no idea what vocal range Cook has. This just floored me. I've listened to it four times in a row now. I'm going to cut out the beginning (the swearing) and put it on my ipod.

I completly agree... Living outside the US, it's hard to get stuff that are even hard to find in the US and they are not available at all here... If all the Axium album were available here, I would buy them all but I can't... If they become available one day, maybe after idol, I will buy them for sure! But for now, the only way I can listen to the song, is by downloading them...

Nice, very nice, great finish, doesn't have the haunting beauty/eeriness of Thom Yorke, but the Cookster made it his own and I love it when bands throw random covers into the set, can't wait for him to tour!!!! I heard there's also a cover of third eye blind's 'semi-charmed life' floating around somewhere...anyone know about this? Would love to hear that

On the subject of piracy, I think like most ppl I'm totally not in favour of it (I'm so oldskool I won't even legally download, I like to have the real thing with the artwork n everything *cough:geek:cough*, so if I could I would absolutely buy the albums, unfortunately that is impossible for me to do at present but if/when it does become possible, you know I'm there) and I can absolutely understand the other guys from Axium and the Midwest Kings being pissed about it right now, it's an awkward situation, but I think in the long run it will benefit them because so many new ppl all around the world are discovering them and spreading the word... "plus in this example at least, its a live recording, and the internet is pretty much the only way anyone can access these lil gems (live CDs being as rare as they are and just a quick and easy way for record companies to capitalise on a band's success) unless they were actually at the concert, so I don't feel too bad about that! 'ts what filesharing was invented for " ...Is what I would have said before I realised this actually does come from a live CD they released * feels foolish * hmm, well desperate times call for desperate measures for us Cook fans! I'm sure when Idol's over these CD sales will jump immensely

I know how you feel. We have the Axium CD's and I know of someone who has quite a few but it is not allowed to put them out here at this time. Would not want David to get in trouble. It is nice to read that so many people are saying what a few of us have been saying for years that David(and the other Axium boys) are very talented.

Amen! It's kind of sad that it won't be so easy to get to see them perform - I still think of them as a whole - not just David. On the other hand I am thrilled that David is getting the recognition he deserves!

the beginning of this song, like when he is just talking to the crowd, makes me one million times more excited to see him perform, like not with the idol, but when he is allowed to just go off and do his own songs! he seems like he would put on show similar in type to jason mraz...very personable and chill! and it doesnt help that i think its so hot when a guy drops the f bomb here and there. oohhhh i cant wait!

Creep has always been one of my most favourite songs since years years ago, so when I first heard Axium's version, it was pretty orgasmic! TOTALLY brilliant version. I LOVE IT.

Radiohead's was pretty mellow, but this is like ten times the power!

I love the whole song, but 03:48 onwards is my favourite part! huge voice!
