Hi to everyone! Until now I still haven't gone through with the result night (of course, morning here) of the American Idol... I'm still floating in the clouds. Hurray!!! our beloved Cookie won! It's really funny when the two Davids had a face-to-face with Mike Myers (The Love Guru). Cookie's so cute when The Love Guru tried to shave his beard & he moved his face to the right avoding while laughing...
I love the happenings there, it was really a star-studded night! Their performances were amazing... esp. Cookie's performance with ZZ Top... i love it! Also the ones from the boys with Bryan Adams & George Michael.

Until it's time for the announcement, I'm so nervous! my heart's beating so fast... I cover my eyes & ears so that I can't see & hear anything. Until my brother tapped me & said that our Cookie won. I hurriedly stand up & jumping over & over & over while crying for my happiness. Imagine, I even took a leave from my work to firstly watch & witness the result bcoz I'm really so excited & nervous. But at least, it's all worth it! The new American Idol is our... COOKIE!!!

Yesterday night I couldn't believe how many people from outside USA were here fingers crossed and about to have a heart attack. It's AWESOME. Only a true star like DC could do something like this.

I've just arrived at work and while I was in the subway on my way here I was listening to him with the widest smile you could imagine. People were looking at me like "what is this girl smiling for???" hehehe

I bet DC would be puzzled if he saw this site and how many people supported him!!!

I watched the announcement again thanks to the download links of Travis. Did you all see how happy all of the judges were when DC won? Paula and Simon even embraced. It was one of the few times that they were genuinely emotional. I was touched when Simon raised his coke glass to David. So the criticisms during the finale were all for show. They really wanted DC to win.

CONGRATS AGAIN TO DC!!! AMERICAN IDOL. So deserving. More than anybody in AI history, DC deserved this. Congrats also to his loyal wordnerds and cookies. Whereever you all are from, I am proud to be a part of this group.

i thought it was cool how he wanted all the idols with him as he sang it - very nice tribute to the show. it could also be seen as a bit patronizing but we all know that's not how cookie rolls.

Haha, the time when the results show came was in Finland about 4 or 5am and I was sleeping and waiting my friend to send me a message when she hears who wins. About half an hour before the results I saw some dream where I was walking outside and then my friend sent me a message that David Cook won. The message was kind of funny, it was something like ''WORDNERD WORDNERD OMG HE DID IT WORNERD WON. Our David Cook won!'' and something and then I started to run all over the places like a crazy. And when I woke up from the dream the same friend has sent me a message that he really won.

It took some time to post. I'm way to excited! Since I was in school during the result show, I had my friend record it. But I can't wait til the show it's over to find out who won. I was feeling way too sick, so I had my friend tell me. Even though all those suspense are gone, it still is a pretty amazing show.

Me and my friend were screaming like crazy when we see and hear with our own eyes and ears that David won. It was amazing! Then we sorta just fell silent and watch David took his title and see him in tears. It was the most beautiful and heart warming win ever that I have seen. Me and my friend just looked at each other, satisfied and everything. It's so amazing that someone that I supported finally won. With a landslide that is!

Good morning everyone! Can we all breathe a little easier now? What a night it was! My daughter (nurse_kj) was at the watch party last night while my husband & I watched at home. She came to our house afterward & we watched the whole show all over again. It was just as good a second time - I saw people in the audience I know weren't there the first time I saw it !

I'm actually a teacher so I was unable to catch the Live telecast of the Results Show since I was in school. I literally had butterflies in my tummy all morning! Finally managed to leave my kiddos a tad bit so I could google "American Idol results" and I swear I screamed "YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!" the moment I saw that our Darling David clinched the title! The other teachers in the staffroom gave me funny stares as I ran past them screaming "DC won! DC won!" Hahaha
