Congratulations! I commend you for all the work you put through---for this site, for the voting, for us, for everyone but most importantly, for David Cook.

Thank You! For all the photos, the timely updates, craziness, 1am-posting-while-voting-while-panicking marathon, for the great people we've met and talked to here. For keeping those people living miles away from America up-to-date and lastly, for being such an accommodating family! You guys should give yourselves a round of hard applause for all of this.

It was a long, rough, and crazy night---and if we end up celebrating later tonight---then we could proudly say that we helped David Cook every step of the way and I can proudly say that I am proud of this group.

It's not the end yet, though. We have triple platinums (or more) to deliver to Mr. Cook's doorstep! So brace yourselves for awesomeness! Thanks for being there Wordnerds.

Exactly. Last night may have closed a door on a chapter of this journey with DC...but now it's our job to support DC post-Idol.

I agree with all the posts before me - everybody needs to applaud themselves for their hard work and dedication to all things David Cook. Our passion and crazy obsession is definitely one of the reasons he made it this far. Everybody on this site is WONDERFUL! I look forward to visiting this site (multiple times) daily. It is amazing to me how many people have the same ideas and thoughts as I do. American Idol Season 7 is far from over - David's career is just beginning and the memories we have made along the way will last for years to come. I for one am NOT an emotional person, but after all the dedication we have put into this season, no matter what the outcome of tonight, I believe a few tears will be falling down these cheeks haha. Let's keep this site going for years to come!! YAY FOR WORDNERDS!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I for one am extremely proud of all of us. Whatever the end result is tonight....not only did David give it everything he had, but we all did as well. I've never been part of anything even remotely like this before...this whole crazy journey through AI, and now beyond. This is most definitely my second home and I love you guys. And I love David Cook.

I just to had to register today, so I could chime in... This is SO unlike me... I'm the most unlikely of FANS... I'm a 47 yo mom of two and I've NEVER posted on a fan board before... For some reason, David has really touched me this year.

I've followed his entire Idol journey and completely understand why he might have been hesitant to try out. He was making his way in the indie-rock world and having some moderate regional success in his "starving musician" way... But I'm so thankful to him and his brother Andrew for introducing him to us - we would've never known him any other way... His voice, the way he sings from the heart reach deep into the soul (cheesy-sounding, I know...) No matter how this contest turns out - I'm confident that he'll have a long and beautiful career. I really hope that he makes good decisions along the way and stays true to himself and his art - because that's why I love him... I'd hate to see him turn into a paparazzi-magnet. Such a strange thing - celebrity - millions of people love him, but I'd hate to see that turn him into something he's not...

All I can say, is he's such an inspiration... his love for family, his intelligence and sensitivity, not to mention that he can seriously rock-out! I know that I couldn't sleep last night for the image of him in tears on the stage... Love that man! I'll be buying his music and attending his concerts for a long time - long after AI is a distant memory.

I agree with you on that, I definitely do. Thanks for saying it. We have to believe in Cook, though. We know he's such a good soul and we could hope and expect he'd never turn into his own nightmares. That's how our David rolls. That's how he inspired us---staying true to one's self.

I have been constantly surrounded by like-minded people of wit, creativity, sensitivity, intelligence, passion, warmth, joy, kindness, humor, love and all other good things. I love you all and look forward to many more years of being fans of the great, and adorable David Cook.

To D-C.org: Thank you for being the place where high standards were and are kept; where we got to know and love David and where we can always come when we miss him and just need to feel close to him again in the future.

Just want to say how impressed I am by everyone here at DC.org and all the posters. Whatever you thought of last night's show, you guys came out with a vengence to prove your faith and allegence in our David! We all voted like mad while we cried, laughed, vented and screamed. It was truly an honor to be part of this whole process and I think we can all be proud as can be of the efforts put forth last night. On another note, thanks to Travis and the moderators here at DC.org. This has really been a kick! Hope you've enjoyed it as much as the rest of us have.

Would love to see this site remain intact so that we all can discuss David as he goes on to become a star. We could keep track of where he is, what he is doing and where he will be performing. I hope that this is a possibility.

I also would like to thank that person who put d-c.org link to a Facebook group, because it's basically the reason I got a chance to learn about the whole David, not just his Idol performances.

Being a European it won't be as easy for me to keep up with what is happening with DC. I really rely on you and this place to help me, at least until he get over here for some concerts (I have no doubt that one day he will).

Gosh ... If some one had told me 4 months ago that I would be here, obsessed with a young American rocker, and with a whole bunch of American (and Canadian and Finnish and English and .... I could go on forever) new friends of all ages - well I guess I would have asked them to go and have a doctor to check their brains.
But here I am, and I'm so happy that I got to be a part of this.

This has truly been one of the BEST journeys of my entire life. That's all there is to say.

If you ask me, yeah, we are really like a close-knitted community. When I came in here, I never knew I would fit in perfectly with everybody here.

Hey everybody, I just wanted to reiterate what has already been said - I've really enjoyed being a part of something so big and so exciting, and David deserves every piece of success coming his way.

The people have been great, some of the conversations have been all kinds of wierd and wonderful, but I've loved it! Thanks to you all for the laughs (and sometimes deep concerns!) and I know we'll all be behind David for a long time to come!
