I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but ZabaSearch isn't anything official. They have a system about how to determine the winner through Internet searches. I have no idea how they come up with their numbers because they always fall short. Plus someone here said that in the past they have changed their "prediction" after it turns out they were wrong.
Plus the numbers don't add up. Last week with a two-hour voting window, Ryan said there were, I think, 53 million votes. This week with a 4-hour window, the numbers should at least be doubled to 106 million, plus some additional votes from people just tuning in because it was the final. Z's numbers only add up to about 65 million.
And as for judges' input? I have never heard that mentioned anywhere before. Like Jeanine said, the rules from DWTS clearly state that the winner is determined by a formula that combines the judges' scores with the audience vote (and it's not even a 50-50 split, but rather some convoluted proration of the scores.) I think if there were any official input/scoring from the judges it would have been officially stated.
But, even if the judges have input, we know Randy is for DA, Simon is for DC, so that makes Paula the swing vote and we've seen how DC affects her (she's just like us, you know!)

Surely they can't BOTH be wrong .... can they?!

DiaIdolis at least based on something real (votes and busy signals recorded by people who vote using DialIdol's software) but Zaba is just fake IMO. I think maybe they just see what DialIdol says and then copy.
So no, I don't put a whole lot of stock in what Zaba says, or DialIdol, for that matter, because they represent such a small part of the viewing and voting public.
But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the hope!
If nothing else, you can see from the raw numbers part of DialIdol that their voters gave Cookie 354,000 votes as opposed to 257,000 recorded votes for Archie. Whether that reflects the rest of the population or not, it's still 100,000 extra votes for Cookie!
I'm happy to cling to the hope that they're right to keep me calm (relatively) before the big finale.

I just want all this over. Seriously I don't think I can take it much longer. There's still hours until the show and I just really want to see the results. Right now I'm feeling blindly optimistic. Either way our David is going to have an amazing career. And he deserves it more that anyone. I just hate all the messages on Zabasearch. Some people are really petty and immature. I can't stand haters...all the DA fans are bashing Cook because they're mad about the results...and then they start bashing us. Saying that we're immature and annoying...but didn't they just contradict themselves?

oh well me and my friend are going to watch a movie until the finale starts. I have to keep my mind off of it. Fingers crossed everyone <3

ahhh. Is it time to say who the winner is yet? I'm going out of my mind. I'm comforted by dial idol's prediction but don't want to invest too much in that in case they are wrong. Though haven't they correctly predicted the winner the last few years? I'm still going into tonight's finale with nerves and excitement and anticipation.

Hehe. Pessimistically optimistic. I read that, first person I think is Cook. Same goes for vindicated. And same goes for a simple word like Crossword Puzzles. LOL!
and let's not forget the all-important "TRITE"

Technically, this must be David's first "May I have the envelope please" moments. I expect he will have many more. (They do still have the envelope thing at the grammys don't they?)
