But maybe that's because there has never been an interest in past AI winners before in Singapore? I don't really know, I've never been interested in AI until DC came along. I'm not sure how big of a fanbase the other AI winners have in Singapore. If it's too small, then that doesn't warrant them coming over here right? But I'm sure DC has a huge fanbase here already, and if his first album does really well here, then.. Let's hope that he does come down someday

I finally heard David Cook on the radio today. Thing is I hardly ever listen to the radio anymore. When I'm driving, I'm playing DC's CD! Anyway, I took a cab today and the radio was on really softly in the background. I didn't even pay attention to it, assuming it was a chinese station. But the tone of the singer was REALLY REALLY familiar. So I kept straining to make it out, all the while on the inside i was eeeeking at the possibility that it was DAVID COOK. I almost asked the cab driver "Uncle, can you make it louder?"

And then I HEARD the lyrics!! It was Always Be My Baby on Class 95! COOL man!! I knew I recognized that tone, his is pretty distinctive. It was a short ride so I didn't get to hear all of it, I kind of didn't want to get out of the cab when I reached my place!

Yup, my friend who works at Borders told me that the 16th June issue of People just came in yest. And I remember seeing InTouch magazine somewhere on the racks too (I think that's the one with DC posing with the guitar? ) And.. I know Borders bring in Rolling Stone as well, so look out for the June 26th issue with the profile of DC inside. I cant remember who's on the cover for that one though..

Only drawback is that these magazines are so expensive..

True, these foreign magazines sure do cost quite a lot. I was at a bookstore in Far East Plaza earlier today, and they sold People magazine at SG$7.40. I'll bet it could've cost slightly more for InTouch and Rolling Stones magazines.

Heyy, this morning I was in the car and we had 98.7 on the radio, and some DJ (not sure who.. lots of new DJs nowadays) had some music war thing going on. So it was between DC's Time of my Life and 3 days' grace Never Too Late. I was squeeling (on the inside of course, my brothers have no idea their elder sister is such a fantard) when I heard DC being mentioned on the radio. Anyway, I wasn't in the car long enough to listen to the end of the music war hour, but last I heard, DC was winning by a mile. So I'm guessing TOML has been getting regular airplay on 98.7 as well.
