anyway my friend who is currently in LA on holiday decided to go for the idol concert in the end. I am so freaking jealous right now. She called me while DC was performing (or talking, rather) but too bad the signal was so crackly (and the stadium was so noisy), I couldn't make out what he was saying.

So who here managed to catch David on Ellen yesterday? I totally forgot about it and thankfully my mom switched the tv on to channel 5. Also, his segment aired at the right time as I had to leave my house soon after. Phew I don't have vcr/dvd recorder though, which sucks.

My friend suggested just scanning the booklet and then printing them out if you have a powerful colour printer.



I really wish I had! hahaa.. We had all along thought of going somewhere together sometime around now, but she planned too late and by the time she had decided on when to take her leave, I had already planned two other holidays. (which meant that I had no more leave or money left) sigh.. if only...



I'm not sure how much shipping will cost actually. I ordered the David Cook stamps from someone over at the dc lj and shipping is only around 3USD, if I'm not wrong. Not sure how heavy the booklet is though..

I DID!! Nice to see him on TV instead of on the computer all the time! Also nice to see him from back then when he had JUST won Idol. I hadn't noticed in the youtube clip that he had re-enacted part of his win when he first came in, the part where he had kind of bent over when he was crying, looked like he was trying to make fun of himself on Ellen, very cute! He looked great, comfortable giving the interview and performed one of my favourite songs that he did on AI, The World I Know. Ellen is also a HUGE fan of his!

That was my favourite outfit/look for DC throughout the whole competition. It was like everything culminated up to that one point and everything worked from song choice to outfit to hair to SCRUFF (hehe) to TEARS.. *sigh* wonderful moment.

i think they don't understand why we keep coming back for more. they mostly think he's a great singer and fantastic performer, but that's it. they don't know the david that we have all come to love and admire. the sweet, intelligent, funny and sexy david. most people can't be bothered to find out more about their favourite singers. and i think for us, the more we know about him, the more obsessed we get as we fall even more in love with this man. am i making any sense here or am i just rambling?
