Hi Singapore cookies,

Apa khabar, kawan-kawan?

I posted this on the Malaysian cookies forum, but I thought I should just stop in here to say "hello" since I was born in Singapore (Kandang Kerbau Hospital) , but grew up in Malaysia. Is that hospital still around?

I'm originally from KL, came to the U.S. for college in 1980 and have been in the States ever since. It's wonderful to see that Cookie has fans in Malaysia. I'm one of David's older fans as you can probably guess from the 1980 date. But still very young at heart!!!

I consider myself so incredibly lucky because I had an opportunity to see him in concert and actually got to MEET him in person (he is to die for...) Even more gorgeous in person, just pure beauty in body and soul. He's so down-to-earth, authentic, accomodating, personable, and an absolute sweetheart of a guy. What I really like about him, in addition to one hundred million other things, is that he looks you directly in the eye when you are saying something to him. He's actually listening to what you're saying although the entire room is filled with people and it's noisy and there's a lot going on, but he makes you feel like you're the only person in the room. He gives each person who is with him his full attention. How sincere and sweet is that?

Nice to "meet" you. Whoa, I made the 1000 post! Can I win a prize? I only want some authentic nasi lemak or beef rendang, nothing fancy. I still crave the wonderful cuisine of Malaysia/Singapore so much.

It looks like you're the one who posted that awesome pic of him eating a plant? Where did that pic come from, a local magazine? I've never seen it before. It's hysterical!

Besides liking to put things into his mouth, you've probably noticed that he likes to stick things up his nose? But that's one of the reasons we love him so... He's so human, silly, goofy, but awesome....and larger than life when performing on stage.

Yes, he was frequently seen sticking a sharpie pen up his nostril. You probably know that he came out at some locations to meet his fans before the concerts, and he always had a sharpie pen with him, as did the other idols, but no one else stuck their pens up their nostrils except for him. He's a lovable, silly goose.

KK is actually not that far away from my house..
I live on Cairnhill Road, which is a block away from Orchard and a few minutes of driving away from KK.

It’s about possibly getting both Davids coming to Singapore for a concert, from Tinsel Entertainment Asia Pte Ltd. What is required now is the fanbase to both Davids in Singapore.

I think that fans from neighbouring countries might be interested as well, so will you do this survey for me to collate the number of fans?
