Because of the cheesy story line, a lot of teenagers who loves Archie, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, etc. have admitted that they now like David's song and MV..so I think this MV was targeted in bringing the Top 40 market in.

Although I don't get the storyline too, I'd love for more people my age to start liking David, afterall the teens and tweens make up a major part of music consumers

Nope, I was basing it on the snippets. Declaration still stood out. Its the kind of song which grabs you right away, well, grabbed me anyway, even from just the little snippet.

I took a second listen to the snippet last night and the songs I didn't pick earlier DESERVE a mention like HEROES, Come Back to Me, Life on the Moon. Now if I listen AGAIN, I might end up picking them ALL! I'm trying not to overdose on these snippets so that I can properly enjoy the album when its out. I have to say tho knowing the back story to Permanent and that it was recorded in ONE take, that in itself gives me CHILLS.

As for my email to Sony BMG, I was merely expressing interest/excitement over the new album, asked if there'll be any promotions/contests tied to the release, asked if he's ever coming HERE! I don't think I'll hear ANY response but doesn't hurt to email so go ahead and write in.

I agree with the rest of you that the story line doesn't quite go with the lyrics but oh well, there's a lot of David in the video still, if we had our choice, it would be nothing but David in the entire 3.45 minutes!

Hey Sharkie, don't worry, all of us fans WILL buy David's album regardless of whether it gets leaked or not. And about the CD, generally no there will be no videos accompanying the record. If there is a re-release of the album, then they may include whatever music videos of DC are available at that point. Re-releases usually contain some bonus tracks and bonus tidbits like videos.

As for the songkok thing, oh I'm for sure bringing that along should we ever be lucky enough to meet him in person. He digs hat and he's pretty much willing to try anything. I think he'd look drop dead gorgeous in one. That fair skin contrasting with a black songkok ... okay... *slaps self* like that'll ever happen! Bad Sharkie for reminding me of that!

Nope, I saw the full lyrics to Bar-ba-sol, no mention of the word bar-ba-sol in the whole song, so I don't really know what to make of it yet. Although I do love the 30 sec snippet we heard yesterday.

As for whether or not the album will be leaked.. I don't know.. But even before we will be able to get the album on nov 17th, we'd have already heard at least 5 of the songs thanks to the walmart soundcheck.. so... I guess it won't really make much of a difference whether it'll be leaked or not. *shrugs* I'd still buy the album anyway. haha.. a few copies in fact. I'm seriously considering buying a few copies as gifts for other people. LOL.

Anyway was talking to my friend just now, she does freelance writing for a few local magazines here, and she asked if I'm interested in doing a review of David's CD for maybe the Jan issue of a teen magazine that is distributed to schools here. hehe.. It's not confirmed yet, or anything, but I'm pretty darn excited!

I forgot to say this earlier, Widz, about your laptop, try defragmenting it, sometimes it helps everything run smoother, get rid of any programs you don't need, basically do a "cleaning" of your hard drive before you give up on your laptop, get rid of anything that's not in use and also check to see if you have any software running behind the scenes that's always there even if you don't use it, especially those that auto launch on start up. Another way to speed things up is to upgrade the RAM, much much much cheaper than throwing out the entire laptop and getting a new one.

After doing the whole thing...have a scan over your computer//lappie.
You can get free anitvirus scanning softwares online...just search on google.

Once everything is done.
Reboot your lappie.
Then its all done...and please if you have unwanted Videos delete them...they take up space like an elephant!
