but yeah, you can't really get rid of illegal downloading..

There will always be people downloading them. Even after the CD comes out, people will still download them from others who already have the songs.

As much as I want to wait til I get the actual physical copy of the album itself before listening to it, I don't think I'd be able to hold out, KNOWING that it is actually available online for us to listen to. So.. bring on Nov 13 already!!!

I haven't decided yet WHEN I'm gonna run out and try to get the album. I was aiming for my lunch hour but that's really tight for me and extremely rushed. Its either that or I go after work and that will mean 7.30-ish for me.

Had Band from 6-2pm.

Anyway guys, I asked at Sembawang (Parkway branch) about David's album coming out on the 17th. I said "David Cook's new album is coming out on the 17th, will you guys have it on that day itself?" The guy responded by saying the OTHER fella's album is out on the 10th, they have not heard any news on David's album yet but they'll most likely get the fax next week. So I'm guessing we won't get any window display or posters or anything up. Hmph! If I'm there next weekend, I'll ask again. He says if the album is supposed to be out on the 17th then yeah, they WILL have it on that day.

But I DID find it funny that he told me about "the OTHER fella". Seems like big Dave and little Dave are still linked!

I'm thinking of holding out to get the album till after work cos I'm not going to be able to listen to it anyway while AT work so I may hit up Parkway myself on the 17th.

For the record guys, from what I've found personally, Sembawang sells CDs at a slightly cheaper price than elsewhere. They're typically between $16.90 to $18.90. Popular may be cheaper by 10 cents or so, I'm sure Popular will carry David's record since they carry the previous Idols' work too. I usually get my CD's from Sembawang.

It's like an internal conflict actually.. My current laptop's disk drive is somewhat faulty so it doesn't want to read any CDs I put in. I can just go over to our IT dept to get it repaired but I've not been in the office for some time so I've not had a chance to do that. So EVEN if I do get the CD at lunchtime, it's not so much to LISTEN to it, but more to read the liner notes and stare at the pictures inside, I guess. heh..

Hmm.. Fareeza wanna meet up at Parkway after work? wahaha...

I'm not really sure about the Buzzworthy thing. I can't remember where I read it, I just remember reading the date as 11 Nov. Not sure if that's WHEN they'll be filming it, or if that's when they'll be AIRING it. *shrugs* From what little I watch of MTV nowadays, I think they usually have an Artiste of the Month as well as Buzzworthy Artiste of the Month. The buzzworthy artistes are usually the newer artistes, and they'll usually run the interviews many times throughout the month.. Anyone else with any more info?
