WOOHOOO HELLO EVERYONE!!!

I just got back. The Rihanna concert actually ended around 930 but we went for supper first. heh..

The concert was SO SHORT man! I felt cheated. bleargh. The only good thing was that they somehow upgraded our seats so we ended up seating on the sides, about 10 rows from the front. Pretty close! The sound system sucked though. I hope that WHEN cookie comes here for a concert, they'd have upgraded the sound system cos I'd want to hear his voice crystal clear.

TODAY HAS BEEN THE BEST DAY EVER! (and I thought today was gonna suck!)

First the TRL interview, and then the reviews from the David Wright Gala (i've yet to watch any of the vids.. I'm sooo not sleeping tonight), and then the album leak. Work-wise, I actually got quite a few things done.. Went for all my client meetings and they all went well. My colleagues were kind enough to let me blast the album this afternoon. (they pretty much think I'm nuts anyway) I got a good review for one of my assignments. And then went to the Rihanna concert. OMG SO MANY EXCITING THINGS IN ONE DAY.

haha it was quite good actually. She did Disturbia for her opening number but her mike was spoiled (stupid sound system!!) so she ended up just dancing to that whole song while they went to get her another mike.

I really loved her doing Shut Up & Drive, Unfaithful, Take a Bow, SOS, and Umbrella. The new Numanuma song - not so much. I loved Pls Dont Stop the Music too! (although the entire time I kept thinking - there should be a Mavid dance somewhere)

There was this super enthu indian guy who came in a Rihanna tshirt and was dancing and jumping around throughout the ENTIRE concert. semangat!

And no, she didn't faint.

OH! Her dancers are pretty HOT..

Wow...sounds super fun!

Btw I was with my friends in the car just now and I let them listen to a few of the songs from the new album. They only heard a few songs but they love Come Back to Me and Barbasol. And one of them, a guy, said that he's pretty impressed. I can't wait for Monday to come already!

That's AWESOME! Cookifying the masses! Seriously this album is going to have broad mass appeal! The ones that stand out for me right now are Permanent (but of course), Avalanche, Heroes and surprisingly Life on the Moon, I orginally thought it was a weird title, but it FITS!

Sha's horns are coming out now too! Let's face it, we've all got crooked halos in here when it comes to David and his band and pssst... Kyle's very distracting to me TOO! I really like watching how he plays on the drums, super ON!! When watching the band, here's what I've noticed, Kyle and NEAL sometimes steal my attention away from David, unwillingly of course.. but yeah I like watching David interact with his band members especially his friends from MWK.




Some tidbits learnt from the David Wright Gala:

- David, Neal and Andy are living together in LA
- According to Joey, they are learning some AH songs to play on the tour - I think I'm going to drop dead if I hear David perform ANYTHING from Analog Heart, NEVER thought we'd get to hear him play AH songs live (aside from some of the youtube clips from a while back) and now he just might be performing them with his new band.. *freaks out* and you guys just KNOW David is going to change some of them up for sure!
- College tour is what they're aiming for but not entirely confirmed yet, according to Andy, they're going to Philippines in January (again I'm not entirely sure this is confirmed either)
