This fan community amazes me. Its a reminder that human beings as a whole have GOOD hearts.

I did a semester in the UK 2 years ago and almost everyone I met didn't know where SG is. But at least I didn't get asked the China qn (maybe cos I don't look chinese ) My Chinese friend did get asked that a lot though, that after a few weeks she sometimes said *yeah we are in China* (that probably did not help matters haha )

And yeah, I totally love the spirit this community has. I'm still amazed at how much has been accomplished in such a short time. I feel proud to be a D-C.orger!!


Sidenote: I showed the mavid dances to my younger bro (he's 18), he totally cracked up and found them amusing. He didn't know though that they are on tour, so he asked me how come they keep performing that song so many times.

I have a few good friends who are already moms, who actually tell me they prefer Archie more. Given his wholesome image that moms want to bring home as their son, I'm not at all surprised your mom likes him more.

I too have downloaded 'Crush' into my mobile player and listened to it, and I must agree that it's not only easy on the ear, it's also radio-friendly. But as much as I support Archie, David Cook is still top priority for me.

I've been listening a lot to Analog Heart and The Story Thus Far lately. Getting VERY excited for his album to come out now.

My colleague was listening to some radio station on her earphones and then she suddenly asked me *Is "I dont wanna cry" a new Mariah Carey song? They just played it, but I've never heard of it before* So of course I told her *I'm positive it's not, since someone performed that on American Idol last season* (Note: She doesn't know I'm a DC fanatic, so I didn't wanna scare her by letting her know that I know WAY too much about last season's AI) So she continues humming to that song.

And then she suddenly said *oh you know that other mariah carey song that's really nice? I can't remember the title!* and she started humming the tune to ABMB. Of course inside I was freaking out already (happens whenever anyone mentions anything remotely related to DC haha) but I tried my best to remain calm. So I said *You mean the one David Cook did a version of? Always be my baby?* and she nodded *yeah that's the one! I love his version* At this point I couldnt contain my excitement anymore and told her I was a huge fan and if she wanted I could pass her all of his songs! And so I did! =) I do enjoy spreading the DC love~*

wow 50.. that's quite a lot. As many fans DC has in SG, they're mostly the casual fans now (And I can confidently say, there are at least thousands of them around). People like us, not so many I think.

I went to Escape Theme Park on Saturday and when I got there it rained HARD (think DC saying bit it HARD..lol)!
And my friends and I (stupidly) forgot to bring umbrellas so we ran back to the bus-stop and we waited for AGES for the bus.
Then on Sunday, I went to the Indonesian Embassy (they had an Independence Day Concert) and they had Ihsan Idol (does anyone know him here ? lol) AND IT RAINED AGAIN!
Luckily we (my friends and i) were backstage so we didn't get rain on us but still..
So I have a cold..but recovering..
