Fareza: I beg to differ...maybe the college tickets have been cheap, but all the concerts that I have been, just the general admission has been $20.00 dollars, mine have been either $50, $60, $75 and $120! the Newport Beach, Ca so far is the most expensive, and I'm wondering why...not that he isn't worth it, but I wish he could come to Texas..., Brazil and Singapore to a small club, where he can give a private show to his most loyal fans. I feel so bad for the brazilean word nerds, they love David so much, and he has yet to show them some love back...

Hello sha! EHHH I may have poor eyesight but I still think he has a double chin! Anyway I showed one of David's vids to a friend recently who has not seen him on video for a long time (I think I showed her the accoustic Souvenir performance from Houston or smtg) and she tweeted me smtg like "eh your hero now fat eh?" So yeah.. maybe it's cos we watch his videos on a daily basis that sometimes we don't see it. But yeah, I think he is getting fatter. Don't shoot me though, I still love the guy! haha..



Ooooh thanks for the info about the US ticket prices Cookie! Of course all of us in Singapore wish that he could come here. Hopefully his tour schedule clears up a bit in the coming months and then he can go n meet his international fans. Right now all we can do is to patiently wait and live vicariously through the youtube vids.

I'm pretty sure our boy is a HUGE fan of junk food. haha.. and beer. Junk food + beer = that pooch never going away. I don't have a problem with that though, as long as the voice is still there. I that voice. I'm pretty sure 10 years down the road, if I get the chance to hear him "live" again I would definitely still go cos it's the voice that keeps me coming back for more.

Btw I wanted to bring over some of Angie's photos but I can't seem to right click and save them. Lots of shots CLEARLY showing how he's rocking the pooch. I've read on DCO that his new skinny jeans make him look thinner but I don't see it. I think it makes him look fatter. I wish he'd wear those painter jeans again. Me no like the skinny jeans. Makes him look top heavy - not very proportionate.

The website says the pics are dated 22 Jul 2009 in LA but I checked his schedule.. he has a show in Minnesota on Jul 22.. hmm unless they were taken on Jul 21 instead.. weird.

He was wearing that same outfit when he did an interview with a Yahoo AI blogger, at least I think she was an AI blogger. They did the interview on a golf course and he was wearing that same shirt. This must've been something extra from then too.

Totally off topic but I need to ask a very, very, very, very, extremely, super-duper important question:

Poly, or JC?
& should I drop Add Math if I wanna go JC?

I'm so freakin' stress 'cause my Prelims are in two weeks and there's the whole deal with that H1N1 virus and I'm actually on MC (FOUR DAYS, BABY!! But I'm not happy 'cause d'oh, I'm sick) and I don't know if I should drop stupid Additional Mathematics. My principle said even in poly, you'd study add math whatmore in JC where there's F Math (yeah, soooo many bad f words in my mind right now) and the only thing that's making me feel better are those videos and pictures of Davey dearest you guys posted. So thank you so so so so very much.!

I'm ranting. I feel my fever surging again (can you actually say "surging fever"? ) I can't even think coherently yet I'm typing at furious speed. I should get an award! Oh man, I feel like I'm drunk-typing. I think I need my meds now (& those aren't for the obsession or the Defective Halo syndrome).

hmmm.. ok here's my two-cents worth. Whether you wanna go to Poly or JC depends on whether you have an idea of what you wanna do later on as a career. If you're still more or less undecided, the JC route would be better as you'd still be doing general subjects instead of specialising in a diploma and you get to do your A levels as well. On the other hand, the A levels CAN be a freaking nightmare (I remember LOTS of mugging involved). I had never studied so hard in my entire life.

If you can still cope, try not to drop Add Maths cos if you do decide to go the JC route, your Add Maths knowledge will benefit you greatly in your C Maths. I'm not sure that the current JC syllabus still offer F Maths. Heard they abolished it and now they just have Maths at different levels (H1, H2 and H3). or smtg like that.. Think that's what my bro told me. You better check that when you go for the JC open houses. I took F Maths myself, and loved it. (But then again, I was a Maths geek. Maths was prob e only homework I did for school. hehe.. 3/4 of the girls in my class dropped F Maths after a year though.)

I can't say much for the poly education since I didn't go through it myself. Only thing I know is that you don't have to wear uniforms for poly. hehe.. But then again, sometimes it might be a blessing to wear uniforms - you don't have to decide what to wear everyday!

I finally have time to catch up with some of the tour vids from this past week. Found this really cute one of Lie at the Mahnomen show.

Someone threw him a glow-in-the-dark star necklace so he put it on and requested the lights to be dimmed completely. Pretty cool effect. Ended up you can only see the star so he said smtg like *does it look like a floating star or smtg?*

Plus he has that instore Skechers appearance on Aug 5th and he'll be doing a few shows in NYC that week as well correct? Is it too soon to be hoping that he'll announce a new single by then? He needs to be promoting something right to keep appearing on the TV shows? Can I hope that it's either Declaration/Heroes/Lie? Am I asking too many questions?

Some guy asked him "how's his dog?" and Dave starts talking about Neal! "Neal's good, we feed him. He pisses on the bus sometimes which is kind of a pain.." And then someone asked him to take his shirt off (again! what's with all the shirt off requests lately?) to which he said smtg like "I don't think the concert promoters would be too happy about that cos all you guys will just walk away and I will prob only be playing to this guy (points guy who asked about his dog out) who's only real interest is my dog so..."



Some girls interrupted his banter to ask him to wish her a happy bday. And he was saying how tt sorta ruined the point/moment of his story. And Kyle, as usual, provides the sound effects with his drums.



He did an impersonation of Randy Jackson - "That was dope, dawg" LOL!



He did the first chorus of Lie unplugged away from the mike again! *garh* I love this song so much. Now I'm really hoping that this will be the next single.
