hahahahah ME TOO! I was a crazy BSB fanatic. I went to that concert, that was awesome.. *sigh* those were the days..

I'm guessing most of us here on this thread are in our twenties if we were BSB fans?

Anyway I was with a group of friends whom I hadnt seen in ages today.. and then my friend's hp rang and she had ABMB as her ringtone! I immediately started squeeling. I can safely say that all my friends think I'm pretty much nuts right now.

I totally agree with you right there. One of my closest friends is going over to LA next week.. and I was telling her how jealous I was cos that's where DC is right now. Then I mentioned the AI tour to her and now she's thinking of going. I feel pissed cos everytime I mentions DC she just tunes me out, but then now she's planning on going for one of the concert dates.

Now it's pretty pretty easy to identify who in Singapore are ardent fans of David Cook, and all it takes is one Always Be My Baby. I have a few other friends who also use that very same song as their ringtones.

I almost wanted to use that song too, but in order to make myself stand out from the others, I used other DC songs instead as my ringtone, ranging from all his Idol performances to songs from his indie album Analog Heart.

PS: If you hear a handphone singing Eleanor Rigby, you never know it might be coming from me!

She's lucky that i had the self control to stop myself from strangling her. Well, after i made her listen to Billie Jean, i'm glad to say that she's singing a different tune now. Ah yes, I remembered that one - it only happened once. In fact, Singapore was the only international pit-stop, and the final pit-stop for the top 10 finalists back then.

Yay on DC doing well on the local charts.. and yeah ABMB is the one that a lot of people recognise and LIKE even non-fans.

I had no idea the AI tour had made a stop here before. That's really really cool. I watched every season of the show but yeah I never really kept up with any of the idols after the show ended. The last idol I liked and was a fan of was Clay Aiken wayyy back in season 2. I'm so happy this time around someone I like WON the show! Woohoo!

I have more than 1200 songs on my ipod now, but I keep reverting back to DC. The pull is just too strong. I tried a couple of times to stray away and listen to the other songs by putting them on shuffle mode, but I always somehow end up listening to DC again after a few songs. haha.. My friends keep asking how is it that I'm still not sick of the guy just yet, considering I listen to him for at least 2 hours a day.

It's simple to be a part of this one - there will be a gathering held and we can well expect games to be played, and related to David Cook at that. I'm looking to see if anybody's interested to attend this one.

No date has been set just as yet - all I can say is that it will be held tentatively around July-August.

If anybody wishes to make donations, it's optional, though it would be nice to do so. Proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society (ACS). I'm also looking to the possibilities of proceeds going to the Singapore Cancer Society as well.

I truly hope the Cookies/Wordnerds in Singapore could join us for this one event, and show that David Cook has fans who live outside of the USA! Who knows, that could even convince TPTB to get David to perform here in Singapore for a showcase or concert gig!!

anyway, just thought I'd let you guys know that DC is getting heavy airplay in a lot of radio stations here in Singapore. So far, I've managed to catch either ABMB or TOML (or both) on 98.7, power 98, class 95, 91.3 and most recently 89.7 (Ria, which plays a mix of malay and english songs).

Seems to me like our island is getting caught up in cookie fever. hehe..
