Hey guys...as you may know, ive lost my old HP at TimeZone with all my cookie stuff inside.
Kinda sad and angry too.

Well, now im gonna buy a new HP...but then its a china phone.
But theres one problem though(NO, not the China milk thing)
I'm kinda hesitating to buy a china phone cause i never bought a China phone before.All this while, ive been using NOKIA and NOKIA only.

P.s. the phone has TV, which enables me to watch AMERICAN IDOL or anythin on Channel 5 anytime i wish.
It also has dual sim card thingy.
The phone is beautiful though...but at the side it has weird writing that says...BLUETOOTH...TV...lolx...I need advice...and fast!

Hmm..well I think my friend got one of those TV phones..the TV thingy works fine but not sure of mobile capabilities..compared to other mobile phones like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, etc.


What I usually do is prioritise the things I need..like for example, do you want Wifi or TV, or Good camera/Good sound..

I'd recommend sticking with Nokia, that's my personal preference. I do not know how good that China phone is, I've seen it and yeah you can watch TV on it, I guess its like what widz said, depends on what you're looking for.

I specifically wanted a high end camera phone so I got a Nokia N-series phone. Its N82 and I LOVE IT! I've got all my Cook stuff on it too!

Guys, regarding Ellen that's airing on Channel 5, any chance the episodes airing are from around May/June 2008? Remember David was on right after his win, I'm wondering if that episode will be on.

This is really random, but I *finally* got around to listening to Axium's Matter of Time album recently. (a lil backstory, I've been slowly listening to axium songs but I didnt wanna get into all of them at once, so I started with the story thus far, listened to it nonstop for about a few months before listening to Blindsided and after about another month or so, then matter of time.)

So ANYWAY, I'm listening to the Matter of Time album, and that song "Peace of Mind" totally struck me from the very first time I listened to it. It's so unlike most of Cook's other songs in that the lyrics in this song is actually pretty simple. But what struck me was how sincere the song sounded. (Also another backstory, I know the story behind that song before I heard it, just that I held out on listening to it til recently) So basically I couldn't get enough of this song and it's been on repeat on my Itunes for the past 2-3 days.

Now, if only I can get a guy to sing that to me.. hehe *swoon* I would LITERALLY melt into a puddle and .. I dunno.. marry him in an instant or something. hahaha.. I freaking LOVE this song and if u guys have not heard it yet, go and find it on youtube. Really lovely..

Wow, very interesting lyrics. That's the thing about David, there's always something that's gonna make you think, which I really like. I'll admit I have YET to hear ANY Axium songs. I downloaded them and have them on my cell but have not gotten around to them. (Yes I know, bad Fareeza! LOL!) How hard core are they? Mar, what's the back story you alluded to? Me no comprende..

I watched my tape of AI7 from today or err.. yesterday.. lol! It was David's performance of All Right Now, one of my faves of the season. Total rockstar and very comfortable on his guitar and just owning the stage. I did not however like how he talked back to Simon during his critique. David looked pissed off, he had the right to BE pissed off after the no charisma comment BUT he should've handled it better. To his credit though, he did reign it in somewhat and didn't fully unleash on Simon. I remember when I first watched AI7, I cringed when watching that critique session. I was thinking "DON'T answer back!!" David wasn't the only one who did that, quite a few of the idol contestants did just that. Its like having a new cohort at school, the new group always tends to be a bit more daring and outspoken. I can understand the idols wanting to defend themselves but at the end of the day, do so respectfully cos the judges were the ones who put them there in the first place.

That was the only time I remember David reacting that way after a critique. Dude learns FAST! He NEVER answered back that way again no matter what Simon called him, which I found very very CLASSY. I remember an interview where David admitted being pulled aside by one of the AI staff/producers after the week of All Right Now, and being advised on how he should react and how he should perform and he really took it to heart. Ever since then he either stayed silent and accepted the negative comments or he defended himself respectfully. Talk about evolving and progressing in more ways than one, huh.

Its fun getting the chance to re-watch the season and being able to watch KNOWING who will win.

The Axium songs - some of them are pretty hardcore rock, but there are some that lean more towards the style he did in Analog Heart, and then there are songs like Peace of Mind and Incarcerate which are mostly just his vocals and maybe accompanied by guitar & piano. Some of the songs, if released now, can certainly get airplay on the radio. I wouldn't say ALL the songs are great, but lately it's becoming more and more difficult to choose a favourite Axium song. hahaha..

As you can see, I have quite a lot of favourites.. The backstory to the Peace of Mind song.. the full title to that song is actually Peace of Mind (Song for Sarah). So a lot of people were asking who's Sarah. Sarah is his college gf. If I'm not wrong, Sarah's mom is also a member of this site and she apparently has pics to prove it. (I can't remember her nick though, or if she's still here) Sometime back in March she was posting some pics of David back when he was in college and there were a few pics of him and Sarah. She confirmed that the song was written for her daughter. There's apparently someone on youtube who's also claiming that she's Sarah's mom so if you go through some of the comments on the youtube for that song, you might be able to find her.

(ok i dunno if what I'd just written was too personal and if it should be deleted. i'm not sure. maybe i'll keep that para there for now and i'll delete it in a few days)



Actually that was the episode that made me first notice David! It was cos of the crossword puzzles and I remember thinking *damn smart men are sexy*. And then Simon had to say he has no charisma cos of that and I was just like *wth are you smoking Simon?* But yeah I agree with you, Dave's a fast learner. He makes mistakes, but he learns from them pretty fast. He became the MOST gracious contestant AI ever had after that episode. hahaha..
