Have u guys watched the new vlog DC put up on DCO yet? That man is all kinds of great. So adorable. How am I EVER supposed to get any work done with all these media onslaught that DC has unleashed on us in the past few days? A SMS fanclub sounds absolutely cool!! For one sure thing, as long as any one of us here gets hold of first-hand DC news, we must send a text message to the other fans.

On the other hand, I doubt November 17th is the release date in Asia. That is, unless we fans here in Asia are getting his album first, before our US counterparts (in my personal opinion, it doesn't sound right).

And oh, we have to keep pushing to get Light On to re-enter the 91.3FM Hot 30 Countdown - it has slipped off the charts after only 2 days in the charts. Sad. Please keep voting and requesting for the song, the same way we did with the Magic Rainbows (aka TOML) back then.

On a personal note, I've heard Light On being played on-air quite a number of times this week. The only catch: I was listening to Malaysia's FlyFM when I heard Light On. Reminds me of the 'tidak apa' attitude that KN once mentioned here, which the DJs right here seem to be showing. I fear it might be the Clay Backlash that poor David could've been subjected to. I was talking to a friend yesterday and while a lot of people know that DC sang ABMB and TOML, they don't really know who he is. Seems like not that many pple watch AI after all. It's almost 1 am and I just got home from a whole day of jalan raya with my friends. Kinda exhausted right now, crashed my car on the PIE earlier today and it had to get towed. Thankfully no one was injured. But that's a whole other story. (And as much as I know that I should have been traumatised or smtg after that incident, I found it kinda cool and amusing. Yeah, just shoot me now.)

Hey widz, I saw the entry on your entertainment blog abt tt guy on x-factor doing billie jean and I just thought I'd add in my comments here.. (hope you don't mind, I saw the link from mjsbigblog)

Actually I feel that it is quite unfair to that Austin guy to get compared to DC. The version of BJ that he did doesn't sound much like the CC version that DC did. In fact, it's much closer to the Alex Cornell version. (My friend introduced this to me wayyy back in March)

Check out the this youtube link for the Alex Cornell version.

It's more soulful and jaazy as compared to CC/DC's angst-rock version.
I felt that Austin's version was somewhat in between CC/DC's version and Alex Cornell's version.

Which is why I feel that Simon's comment for Austin's version was more spot-on than Louis' comment. (Seriously, Louis is a tool, a useless judge. He doesn't know what he's talking about most of the time, Simon calls him on for it and he will refuse to admit it.)

But what obviously pissed me off is that Simon is actually pretty unoriginal when he keeps telling all these contestants to always be original. If I'm not wrong, some weeks the judges (or mentors rather, in the case of x-factor) make the song choices for the contestants. And what does he do? Give the dude a song that has been done (extremely well) in American Idol. Just like how he gave DC The First Time I Saw Your Face last season. Leona Lewis had already done that before. (I never did like Leona on the show. No personality whatsoever. Urgh. But that's another story)

Ok I will stop here before this gets too long. I seem to have a tendency to do that lately.

I agree with Austin's version being different to CC/DC's because his vocals and genre is not in the rock category like CC/DC but the arrangement was still closer to CC's..hmm

Actually if Austin Drage did BJ with Alex Cornell's version, it would be much more better AND fabulous like DC's Billie Jean.

Unfortunately, Simon directed him to the Chris Cornell arrangement. I kind of get his (Simon's) thinking since Chris Cornell is more 'popular'..btw is Alex Cornell a major laber artist? I just listened to the link you gave me and I love his version!

Yeah Austin should have totally gone with the Alex Cornell version. I'm not sure if he's a major label artist, or who he even is actually. I don't know if he's even related to Chris Cornell at all either. hahaha.. I only knew about his version of BJ cos my friend passed me the link back in March and that was it. My friend loves David's version on AI but she's more of a soul/jazz person so she was delighted when she found the Alex Cornell version.

And I know which blog you're talking about, but don't take it to heart. It's really just a personal blog at the end of the day, and he should be allowed to post about whoever he prefers. I wouldn't want people to tell me what I should be posting about in my personal blog. Besides, there are way many other blogs that keep up-to-date with DC news. (One reason why I still visit mjsbigblog on a regular basis.)

Err.. yeah. My friends pretty much think I'm nuts for reacting the way I did - that I could still laugh about it. I guess I'll feel it when the bill comes in from the workshop. But then again I'm covered by insurance so *hopefully* I won't have to pay more than $500. Looks like I'm gonna have to fast again this coming month, or something. haha..

Why I actually found it cool...

1) I was there walking around on the expressway trying to settle the whole incident, and I had this BRIGHT PINK baju kurung on, with my BRIGHT PINK handbag, walking around in my 3-inch heels and super-action-cool shades dealing with some apek and this other 30-yr old man. I'm sure it must have been a pretty funny sight to the drivers driving by. Like, *wahlao accident still want to act cool sia!* hahaha.. In fact one of my friends actually drove past, saw me and told me that later that day.

2) They (the EMAS recovery people) wanted us to move over to the road shoulder (cos we were on the first lane) so they LITERALLY stopped traffic for us. I've never seen that before. Have you ever seen a whole bunch of cars lined up on the PIE and then a whole stretch of expressway in front of those cars EMPTY? That was pretty cool, although not so cool for the drivers stuck in the jam that I created, I'm sure. I'm sorry.

3) And we saw a sign on one of those electronic boards that said *Accident on Lane 1, please filter* or something to that effect. My friend took a photo of it cos she was excited as it was actually referring to us.

Yeah I know I shouldn't have found it cool as I could have endangered lives and whatnots. And caused that massive jam on the expressway. I promise I'll be more careful from now on. I'm just glad no one was injured.

Actually your car damage is like what happened to my car back in Jakarta..and it was fasting month!!
except that the damage was to the trunk LOL.

The car behind us was speeding on the next lane, and moved to our lane ( the middle lane), didn't realise that we weren't speeding..(the other car was speeding 100+) and they didn't have enough time to brake, so ended up crashing into us.

But that guy's insurance took care of it

Yeah one of my friends (a smart-alec-know-it-all-who-has-apparently-been-in-one-accident-too-many) said it might cost about 20k to get the car repaid. I'm hoping that's not true. Ok, I'm gonna pray that's not true. I mean, it's gonna be covered by insurance and all that, but yeah, 20k just doesn't sound good.

haha.. I've not updated my blog since 7th sept. So lazy to update already la, I do everything on Facebook now.

I got 5 A1's 2 A2's and a C5

Yea that C5 was because of my Malay. Blehs..hate malay man!
Im really glad of my results though...
I gt 1st in Class for English and Literature ( WORD NERD (: )
I gt 3rd in class for Science and Math
I gt 2nd in Class for geog

For history and the rest..I don't know

Im thinking of going for Pure Sciences and A math n taking Geog...
Lols sounds stressful although i felt that i did not give it my all for Science.

This self professed matsalleh over here for some reason unknown even to ME got an A2 for Higher Malay for my O-levels but a B3 for (regular) Malay, O-levels which I took in Sec 3, go figure!!!

Oops. Pardon my absence here for the past couple of days. And as always, the computer I use in the daytime has been a huge letdown as it loads this site way too slowly. To some extents, I got awfully frustrated.

I can still be found in DCO though. There, I hardly see you ladies there, though it's understandable why. Everything happens for a reason. So yeah, though I'm missing out on the fun here, I still got my usual David Dosage. The only thing I missed out on was a pic of Kyle and that I'm trying to catch up on the interviews that were up last week, as I still await today's interview.
