i hate comparisons between two distinguished artists because they all have their
own unique quality that cannot and should not be compared with anyone else. the
competition is over so get a life and move on already. the media just like to spark
tension even though it's crystal clear that Cook & Archie are not adversaries & have
respect for each other.

i dont think it matters who sells more records at the launch. sure, it would be super
sweet and encouraging if a debut album does amazing but i'm certain that we all want
David to have a successful career as a musician in the long run.

i'm sorry if this sounds like i'm bashing anyone. i think its more important that we
support David than ponder if Archie is doing better or not.

I posted this on the Malaysian cookies forum, but I thought I should just stop in here to say "hello" since I was born in Singapore (Kandang Kerbau Hospital) , but grew up in Malaysia. Is that hospital still around?

I'm originally from KL, came to the U.S. for college in 1980 and have been in the States ever since. It's wonderful to see that Cookie has fans in Malaysia. I'm one of David's older fans as you can probably guess from the 1980 date. But still very young at heart!!!

I consider myself so incredibly lucky because I had an opportunity to see him in concert and actually got to MEET him in person (he is to die for...) Even more gorgeous in person, just pure beauty in body and soul. He's so down-to-earth, authentic, accomodating, personable, and an absolute sweetheart of a guy. What I really like about him, in addition to one hundred million other things, is that he looks you directly in the eye when you are saying something to him. He's actually listening to what you're saying although the entire room is filled with people and it's noisy and there's a lot going on, but he makes you feel like you're the only person in the room. He gives each person who is with him his full attention. How sincere and sweet is that?
