The homecoming t-shirts that I ordered for my girls are here! YAY!!
Now for the funny part....my girls (16 & 6) ran into their rooms to put their shirts on. I ordered the one for my 6 year old a little big, because she likes to sleep in her t-shirts. So...she's folding up towels and bouncing around on the bed wearing her shirt...and she says something about sleeping in it... then this happens:
Abigail: Mommy, where's your shirt?
Me: I didn't get one for me, just for y'all
Abigail: Why? You don't want to sleep with him?
Me: ...................................................................I'm a married spud, I'm a married spud, I'm a married spud..................... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
That right there was priceless.....she has made my day!

That's so funny and adorable!!!!
Recently my 5-yr-old niece said to me (this was a few days ago), when I was trying to convince her to root for DC (since I had to let her down easy her fave Syesha "had won for the girls" and now it's down to the Davids)...
So she says, "You want to marry him?"
And I say, "Sure!"
She says, "But he lives very very far away!"
Just adorable.

Aww that's so cute!
Just the other day my 8 yr old niece was over and she was laying down on my bed staring at the ceiling for a minute before she said "something's missing." I was like "umm...not that I know of." she jumped off my bed and went into my closet where I had a pic of him and she told me to put it on the wall or ceiling and when I asked why she said "that way he is the first thing you see when you wake up in the morning and you can have a good day."

That was a cute story! and I have a cute one to share too...
My son- who is 9- said something really cute to me yesterday.. they were showing the commercial for the finale show on Monday night during House and we watched it together and then I thought he forgot about it after that, but then this conversation took place this past Tuesday morning....
Justin: "Good "D and D" day mommy."
Me: "Why do you say that?"
Justin: "Um.. hello, don't you remember.. your show.. American Idol.. David vs. David.. D and D day.. hey, did you forget today was the day that the Davids are on?"
Me: "No, Justin I did not forget that the Davids will be on tonight."
Justin: "Good, because I can't wait until it's over and David Cook finally wins, so then I can get the TV back and watch some real television around here.."
Me: "Real television, huh?"
Justin: "Yeah, you know.. wrestling... The Simpsons"
Hey, he's 9 and he's kind of spoiled and he usually has control of the TV, except when Idol is on or when it's football season.. then it's HANDS OFF THE REMOTE rules at my house... Sorry, but I have to have some shows of my own, ya know what I mean? One cannot survive on wrestling and The Simpsons alone... trust me, been there.. done that.. I would rather watch re runs of Sanjaya's audition than watch wrestling these days.. I'm just saying...

while the original post was cute, this one made me laugh! i so-so really can relate to your 9 year old son since i'm really just like him. i usually control the tv viewing almost all of the time lol.!
