THE PERFORMANCES
1. I Still Haven't Found What I've Been Looking For
2. Dream Big
3. The World I Know
just so you know I AM a David Cook fan (obviously)
and also for the sake of this thread, let me indulge myself for role playing the judges
1. The first song was the best way to start AI now wasn't it? very lively and it rocked the hell out. I don't dare imagine what could've happened if Archuleta went first with his ballad song (no offense). DC's energy was for sure on the top
2. This in-between song was also great. Despite being new to our ears, we didn't felt like a stranger to it. I guess that's David Cook for you huh?
so at this point my heart was pounding as "Dream Big" was a very great transition song very much like "I Dare you to Move".
3. HEY, i'm not familiar with this song... so first hand reaction was... umm I was staring out the window most of the song's time. The song failed to capture my attention. I mean for his final song in AI David Cook really picked a very forgettable song (IMO). I was expecting a big bang. yeah prolly hoping he'd pick a more popular song (I dun care if he picked sumthin he sang before or not)
now, in all fairness, i downloaded the songs from travis' page and listened to all of them
after a couple of sets now that i'm typing this, i can remember the first and second song by humming, but sadly not the third
(Hey, no Archuleta-bashing here ok?)
